Show the folder name of the note found in a search
I want to store a yearly tax receipt in a folder with the previous yearly tax receipt, but I do not remember the name of the folder. A search of keywords finds the current and the old document but it does not tell me where the older document is stored. With nearly 200 folders, some of which are obvious where NOT to look, I still have to search the remaining folders for last year's tax receipt.

Folder name in search results is now available in latest Insider Fast update. Perform a search and view folder for each result directly in the message list. Try it out and let us know what you think. Thanks!

Folder names only show in the search results (new Outlook) when the message is subordinate to a conversation. If it's the only message of the thread, nothing shows. It would be nice show the folder both in the results but also in the message header as well.

After searching for an email, how do I know which mailbox/folder contains the email(s) found? The search results need to show where the email is not simply show the emails in a list.

Folder names are shown sometimes but not always. In particular, I would love to have the folder name appear when I open an email in a separate window, and also for all messages when I do a search across multiple folders.
I have often unintentionally moved items from “Sent” to “Archive” because I couldn’t tell what was where... and this makes it hard to find those emails in the future.

As in outlook for PC, when using conversation view all emails in that conversation show in which folder they are located (sent, deleted, etc) along with sender, date/time, etc. Mirroring the conversation view in outlook for Mac to match outlook for PC would be a big improvement.
