Support for contact lists (not contact groups!)
Support for contact lists from Outlook.com on the web.
I know contact groups (...@groups.outlook.com) are supported, but support for contact LISTS is also needed.

To my knowledge, Groups are not supported on the Mac platform. I recently was forced to go to the new Outlook after my old client - even after multiple reindexing, yielded no results in search (Mac OS). I am stunned that no Group or Contact list function is currently available. Both selections are grayed out. This is a MAJOR shortcoming that blew away my existing groups and now offers me no solution to make new ones.

From support: Dan, this feature is already planned and our engineering team is working on the same. We do not have an ETA for the same. Hope to see the feature introduced in Outlook Soon. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you.
My reply (pointless because I think the writer is a robot, not a human):
I am glad you have a plan. But it is embarrassing for Microsoft to have no ETA. It's not good enough. Microsoft should fire the team. Who would let this software out before it's ready? Please excuse my earlier spelling mistakes, unforgivable, as it weakens my argument. But at least I recognise my errors and am willing to admit them. BTW, asking me if I have any more questions, is not a genuine form of politeness. It is corporate-speak for 'go away' and don't bother us again. -

when support contacted me, it made me see red! They started off by saying thank you for being an avid user of Outlook! wow! This was my reply: "I am not an avid user of outlook! why make that assumption? telling me that I am doesn't make it true. This corporate nonsense language must change. No one buys it. Don't thank me for making a big complaint…. fix the problem! My university won't let me use anything else but your rubbish software to access emails. Not having this feature is odd- no group emails in the New look? Shocking not have something so basic available. The old version of outlook is horrible to use, it’s like Disney windows for babies cica 1994. Get your act together!

Why this feature is still missing is mind-boggling. Such.a basic feature needs to be added in as soon as possible!

This was a massive fail when creating the new outlook. Apparently the people developing this are isolated and have no need to use a distribution list. Let them out and get fresh air, meet new people in the organization, collaborate!
If this was for personal use only, this isn't a problem. In the real world of doing business in the enterprise it's a necessity.

It is inexcusable that contact groups are not currently present in this version of Outlook. We use them all the time, especially people in business, so what were you thinking?! They need to be included.

I am still having to use webmail when emailing my contact groups, and this is very frustrating. Please support contact groups in new Outlook for Mac.

The new interface is pretty and it is obvious that much work has gone into it. Please add my vote to bringing the distribution list functionality to the new version. For those of us involved in the professional use of Outlook, the distribution list feature is critical for us to stay with the software.

I really need to use contact lists. As long as it is not available, I stay on the former version of Outlook for Mac.

I need to be able to create contact lists and this feature does not seem to be supported in New Outlook, why not?

The Email distribution list is absolutely necessary for all users, not only professional users.

Creating and working with Email Distribution List is a feature that is imperative to be enable ASAP. Outlook being an everyday working essential tool for communicating with so many people on corporations and in Outlook New Look you need to type every single address to collectively share a message make no sense... Please prioritize, MUCH needed! Switching to old version unfortunately...
