Add Alias support
The web based outlook.com and the windows version of outlook 2019 and 365 both support alias support. Only the mac version does not support this. It would be very useful if such support was added.

Very important. It was available before. As a paying customer, I feel it is very important to not loose features after updates!!!

Similar to the Windows Outlook I would like to see a "Send & File Button" in Outlook for MAC.

Regarding the "New Outlook" app for Mac, I totally agree with this comment by another user:
"[...] It is vital that email aliases be supported. I am sure that I am not alone in that my "primary / logon" email is not used publicly. I use an alias for public emails, and such support is really needed in Outlook - especially as it is supported in Windows and (minimally) in the previous version of Outlook on Mac." -

In order for the new Outlook to be of any value you need to add the ability to use iCloud aliases. Without this capability there is no value to moving to New Outlook

Bump. I can use my custom alias to log in from literally anywhere else but Outlook for Mac. This sucks!

Aliases should be also be possible for IMAP Accounts. It's a feature which every Email client provides now a days.

I am a premium outlook subscriber and an MS365 business account holder (Hosted Exchange). I cannot believe that this feature still is not available on Outlook for Mac. It exists everywhere else!
It's available on the iOS Outlook client for heavens sake!

I actually cannot believe that this is something that you rolled out without thinking about.

As a premium outlook.com subscriber with a personalized email address, I need to be able to send from that address using the outlook desktop client on mac.

"New Outlook" support for iCloud is functional, but barely. It is vital that email aliases be supported. I am sure that I am not alone in that my "primary / logon" email is not used publicly. I use an alias for public emails, and such support is really needed in Outlook - especially as it is supported in Windows and (minimally) in the previous version of Outlook on Mac.

Just canceled my subscription because of the lack of Alias support. I use Gmail, and maybe it's different than the support it might have for Exchange... but could not find any documentation, only people saying it isn't possible. Such a bummer, seems like I could make the switch from Superhuman to Outlook... but seems like I'm back to another email app that can support Alias.

It is unbelievable that such a basic feature is still missing (not only for the "new Outlook" but also for all previous versions!
I dislike the need to must setup multiple "real" accounts and the need to configure these for all email addresses "aliases" that do use the same mail account. When there could be a setting to simply add aliasses (like send on behalf of) which is supported by all email clients for macOS I'm aware of and jut a second of work instead of several minutes on Outlook. I do have (unfortunately) up to 10 alias addresses per account and multiple accounts which would lead into having easily 50 or accounts to be configured - that is why I do not use Outlook on Mac for those accounts where I really need aliasses. -

When you add a Microsoft or Outlook.com account, all of the alises should be automatically available from the From menu and a default alias should be set-able in preferences.
