Not able to drag/move e-mails from one mailbox to another anymore.
With the new Outlook i'm not allowed to drag and drop e-mails from one mailbox to another and thus making a copy in that mailbox and folder.

I just switched back to the old version only because this is missing. I have three organizations and four email accounts but all my mailboxes were set up in one account. I was doing a work around of forward the email to that one account but is is just too much. Please make this a priority as I love the new Outlook and want to continue using it. Cheers
I aggregate 9 different email accounts using Outlook. It is frustrating that I can't move many of them from the inbox in New Outlook. I will have to wait for this feature to be implemented before switching over.
Please, implement the copy/move of messages from folder of different accounts.
It's very useful to have a personal account with a business account, for example, and it'll be great to move or copy messages between their own folders.

In classic outlook I could drag a message received in gmail into a folder in my outlook.com email, used for storage. New outlook does not let me do it, only to messages received through the outlook.com email itself and, obviously, I use my storage folders for all my email accounts...without this feature will not use new outlook!
If one has multiple Gmail accounts (who doesn't) Having the ability to drag a message from one folder on one account to a different folder on a different account is crucial. Many email clients allow the function.
Where I work there are multiple email systems in use and as a project manager I can get emails in either system. It is helpful to be able to organize emails between accounts to support finding communications more easily (i.e., typically if I search a certain folder, I can more quickly track down a communication). Glad to see this is being worked on and would hope moving emails will include shortcut key option as well.

The feature is critical because:
1. it was available in the old Outlook and people had arranged their personal ways accordingly.
2. this way to increases the number of folders required and departmentalises the communications, which however, is not the case for an Outlook user. Similar emails can come from different emails warranting saving in one common folder

In the classic Outlook you can move emails to folders in other email accounts. Now you cannot. This would be useful.

This feature works in the old Mac Outlook but seems to not exist in the new one.
With the old Outlook for Mac, we had the ability to move mail between mailboxes in the client. That is, move some mail from the Inbox in one mailbox to a folder in another mailbox.
This is also available with Outlook for Windows.
It seems with the new version of Outlook for Mac, this is no longer possible. Can it please be reinstated.
In the old Outlook for Mac, I could readily use the "Move" function to move an email from one email account to another. I could, for instance, move an email from the Inbox of one Gmail account to a folder in a different Gmail account. Or from, say, one folder in an Office 365 email account to a folder in a Gmail account. The New Outlook seems to only allow movement of emails within single accounts, rather than between them.
This is a major flaw and drawback. I'm hoping you can restore this extremely useful functionality.
In previous version of Outlook for Mac, the awesome ability to Move a message across from one Inbox in one Mail account to another has been lost? Could we perhaps move that functionality forward to the new Outlook? This feature was so much better than the Windows version, and one of my favorite features of using Outlook on the Mac. Also the most recently used Move To folders when selecting the Move command on the menu seems to be missing? Please consider bringing this functionality forward to the new Outlook :) !
As a "New" Outlook (MacOS) user, I want to be able to move email messages ACROSS accounts, so that they (messages) end up in the account/folder(s) of my preference.

This is a must have feature for us. I have 5 different office 365 accounts and need to move mail between them daily. Overall really happy with the direction you're taking with Outlook for Mac.

This is really important to me also.
Glad to see you are working on this. I certainly hope, as mentioned by several, it includes dragging and dropping emails in different email accounts.
I suggest that you create the ability to move emails to a folder from another account. In "Classic" Outlook it is possible to move e.g. an email from an IMAP account into a folder of a Microsoft account. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

I have a company and a private account connected. On occasions, private mails are sent to my company address. I would like to be able to move these to my private Inbox, but this is not possible in the "new" outlook (was before). Only folders in the company account appear in the destination folder list in the "move" function. Drag and drop dos not work either...

Used to be able to drop/drag a received mail into any mail account like gmail. Now I can't.
