I keep looking around for this option. I miss that little button from the old version. I prefer to not show the inbox grouped by conversation. I find it much easier to keep track of what I have and have not read. But I really need that option to see everything in the thread. And the experience in the previous version was better than changing my inbox conversation setting back and forth (and provided more helpful results)

Honestly, can't believe it's really out. I thought I was just missing an intuitive button I couldn't see. Switching to thread view is simply not acceptable. I really can't believe that any user of Outlook, like those in Microsoft, wouldn't just have internal users come knocking on the door daily. Please bring it back.

This is very useful feature, not sure why you would think to leave this out

Removing this feature was a huge step backwards. Similar to others who have commented - the only reason I am still on the old version of Outlook is that conversation view isn't available on the New Outlook. In fact, organization of emails/folders should be a top 10 focus item.

Same as others, this is my most-used feature that I truly can't afford to switch to the new Outlook until this is fixed.

Agree with all the others, this is an important workflow feature, especially when conversation view is turned off. Right-clicking a message gives you the chance to "ignore" a conversation, but not to find it... the functionality seems incomplete if you don't allow conversation view.

Who still uses outlook?

I echo everyone else's comments. This is one of my most commonly used features and is very sorely missed in the new version. I have also found myself toggling back to the old version just to use it.

I'll be switching back to the old Outlook until this is fixed/reintroduced too. Being able to quickly click on that button and see where every email in the chain has been filed to (or not) etc. is invaluable.

This is the missing feature that sent me back to the old version of Outlook for Mac. I don't use it everyday, but when I need it there is no substitute. Re-ordering my inbox by conversation is not a valid workaround for me. Sometimes I don't even need to click the button - I just need to see the icon. It tells me what I'm reading is part of a larger conversation.

Need the handy button to see my replies and forwards. I'll switch back until it is available.

I'll stick with the old interface until this feature is available as it is vital to my usage.

I can no longer see the original email in the grouping once I have forwarded it out. it only shows the forward and no way to see the initial one. I think that is a bug

I'm always switching back, this was my most used feature in previous Outlook.
I don't use "Show as Conversations" in the inbox pane, so this button is essential for my daily job. -

Switched back because this is missing. I use it daily and won't come back until new outlook has this.

This is a vital feature for those who manages communication via conversations. Not only it is no use to see only a part of conversation that resides in the inbox, it also takes away the visibility to see the folder of which the rest of conversation resides in.
Please bring this back. This seems to have been disable as of version 16.42 (20101102). Will switch back to the old version until this is re-enabled, which I sincerely hope Microsoft does.

I suggest you to bring back the functionalities where you can click on the conversation buble icon to display all the mail exchanges on a topic.
I hate the order by conversation, but I like to see the exchanges when needed
Thanks

This feature is a fundamental tool used almost every day in our workflow. This must be re-introduced in the new version as grouping emails by conversation is not a choice for us.

Yes, this is a big miss. I don't like to use the conversation thread in the inbox list, so when I open an email, it was always helpful to have that little icon that showed all of the emails in a conversation thread. Please bring back!
