On the Mail window, restore "Create meeting request from this message" option as a button or on the menu dropdown.

@Eric - my request has nothing to do with the Mail window.
It's requesting a context menu be added to the app icon in the Dock to allow significantly quicker creation of emails/calendars/etc.
Why is it added to this feature request?

Edge has the ability to create a new window from the app context menu
Skype has the ability to "Meet now" from the app context menu.
I would love to be able to "Create a new Email/Meeting/Appointment/etc." from the app context menu.
I would ask that the Outlook PO look at the File > New menu and determine what items should be added.
By app context menu, I mean in the Dock, if you right click on Outlook's icon, there should be additional items listed:
"Create New" >

This is the #1 feature which keeps me from using the new outlook.

Yes! Use case example - I just received an email message about a workplace health and safety online training. I just wanted to right-click on the email and block out a time in my calendar to do it - pushing through the content of the email which contained the instructions. I'm sure other users have had similar use cases.

In the old version of Outlook (and all other platforms: web, Windows, mobile, etc.), you can reply to a message with an appointment. That option appears to be missing in the new Outlook for Mac. And, since you can't drag an email to the calendar like you can in Windows, I have to create a new appointment and copy the info from the email into it. It's not horrible, but it IS a few more steps than I had to do in the old version of Outlook and on the rest of the platforms.

Create event from an email message (Outlook /Mac)

Can no longer drag an email message onto the calendar icon to create an event/appointment.
Unable to send a file from other Microsoft apps like Excel, Word, Powerpoint. The message fails to be sent. I have to manually create a new email and attach the document from within outlook. This is reallyannoying.
Secondly, I am unable to create a calendar invite from within an email. Very basic feature that existed in outlook for years.

I suggest you add back the function to allow for booking meetings straight out of the email messages received. It saved a lot of time since sometimes you wanted to give background on a meeting and also already have the people that should join it in the recipient list from the email received. This was available in most of prior versions.
In the try the New Outlook, the option to forward an email to an appointment, where a message is set into an appointment format where the Subject becomes the Description of the new message, the email body the body of the meeting.
This is really helpful when trying to schedule a meeting based on an email, rather than having to copy/paste between windows. :(

There used to be a button to take an email and turn it into a calendar meeting. It would copy the detail from the email, which I used to create an agenda for the meeting.

When creating an email, it would be convenient to add the ability to create an event from that email. This would help avoid having to discard the email, and create an event with the same content (cut/copy paste) into the meeting event.
Unable to create a calendar invite from an email. This was always there since the inception of Outlook. Looks strange that this has been removed.

The function to drag an email to the calendar icon to create an appointment or meeting from it.
It was working before in the old version of Outlook for Mac and as well in Outlook for Windows.
it's an amazing feature, what would be great to be in there again.
Unless I am missing something, it appears that I cannot create, and send a meeting invite from an email. Obviously without this feature is is much more difficult and production is slowed down.
Windows has had for years, and previous Mac version had it. Allow me to drag an email onto the calendar icon in order to create an event from an email. In future allow same for tasks, etc.
I miss the feature to create appointment (meeting) from mail. That is the feature I use on Outlook every day. Without that feature Outlook is just mail client like hundreds of others.
