Easy was to toggle Sidebar
There is no easy way to toggle the Sidebar, when extended/open, you need to go to the view menu but once collapsed/closed. there's a nice icon to extend it again.
This icon should always be visible to the user.

You can easily close the sidebar by hovering over the edge to resize it, and slide it to the right. I imagine they wanted it to look clean, and all the side bar info in that space, with it expanded the button would move outside that space. I am really happy to see the side bar addition, and using the resize method to collapse it is almost as easy as clicking a button, just not terribly obvious.
Having quick access to the calendar is great, but the calendar sidebar in the new outlook takes up too much space, so being able to hide and recover it very quickly would be a far better implementation

Simple request, can we have buttons for the tool bar that allows us to flip on/off between today and folder views please
Working on a 13" laptop screen My Day takes up too much room (in fact, responding to an email in line casques the window to expand off the screen). I usually have My Day hidden but like to glance at it. Having the Show button remain on the screen so I can quickly show and hide My Day with two clicks would be much better than clicking the button and then having to drag the panel closed. (Same for the show sidebar button)

I love My Day view (will be even better with To-Do's) but on my small laptop machine it is too much with folders + email/previews + My Day. An easy toggle would solve that problem on small displays.

When hiding Sidebar or My Day, icon exists to show it. Would be useful if that could also hide it instead of requiring to drag the window to hide every time.
On smaller screens it's nice to have that info readily available but easy to hide.

I suggest you make the sidebar easily minimizable or make it auto-hide.
