Open/View Shared Calendars
Version 16.32 (19110600), cannot open shared calendars, for individuals or resources (e.g. conference rooms). Views are confirmed to be visible via O365-OWA.
Shared calendars do not work in the new design. Switching back brings the shared calendars back. You can't even add them in the new design, only share your own calendar...
I love the outlook - it is so much better than the older version BUT the ability to not share calendars and to not be able to see my colleagues' calendars renders it useless. I hope you can roll this out asap as I would love to use the functionality, but I have to flip back as it's not fit for purpose in its current form.

Inexcusable that you released this without being able to view shared calendars. Really, truly, awful. Hope this is rectified soon!
OMG! I love the new look-n-feel of outlook, unfortunately I need shared calendars, is so basic, Classic Microsoft,
Need access to shared calendars as our team uses one for tracking time off. If there's a better solution to view/track vacation time, I'm open to alternatives within Office 365/Teams. But as it stands the new Outlook more or less cut off our global team's method to visualize staffing availability.
It's a shame that new Outlook does not support 'Shared Calendar'. I have decided to switch back to the old version. Will be keen to use 'New Outlook' once shared calendar is supported.
Hi Team Outlook,
As stated several times in this thread. I really enjoy the new version for Mac users. However, I will not be using this until you allow the shared calendar feature to carry over. Accessing shared calendars is imperative for my job. It doesn't make any logical sense that you wouldn't enable this feature in your new version. Switching over is a waste of my time if I cannot do my job. It's too bad too bc visually I love the new platform. I hope you can do better.
Got this reply from MS:
Hi Robin, thank you for contacting Outlook for Mac support. I would like to inform you that open a "Shared Calendar" feature is currently not available is "New Outlook" but is yet to be implemented.
You can check the status in "UserVoice" as our concerned team are already working on it. However, the Old Outlook still supports this feature and you can switch back to the Old version of Outlook by turning off the "New Outlook" toggle button at the top right corner of your Outlook window.
We understand your requirement in "New Outlook," as it makes things easier. I shall pass on the information that you have provided to me to the concerned team. Please submit your feedback and help us to raise the priority level of this feature in "User Voice Forum" 👉 https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/924856-the-new-outlook-for-mac/suggestions/38980501-open-view-shared-calendars
We are constantly adding features and the feedback shall be used to enhance the product. And I'd like to share a blog that has all the information of the new features that get released, fixes and other improvements in Outlook 👉https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Fixes-or-workarounds-for-recent-issues-in-Outlook-for-Mac-54afa5e3-db38-422a-9d94-3b55330ded8e/
I thank you for being an avid user of our Outlook product and we shall definitely work on getting the product better for you. The relationship that you have with the product is definitely valuable and we hope that you always share your feedback for the betterment of Outlook for Mac.
I will be closing the ticket now. If you have any concerns related to Outlook for Mac, you know where to find us.
Shared calendars are basically a necessity for most working individuals. I love the look and feel of the new outlook, but I will not be utilizing it until shared calendars come back.
I really need the shared calendar view. When I switched to New Outlook most of them disappeared, but some of them stayed, why is that ?
The most important feature when scheduling, removed? Terrible.
I went crazy looking for the "Add Calendar" button in version 16.42 of the new Outlook for Mac, and trying to find information about it, reading many pages from Microsoft; I could not believe it was simply not there,
In the end I finally found this thread and found it is actually not there.
Please add ASAP. Not everyone has an iOS device at hand to add their colleagues' calendars.
This is so dumb! I need shared calendars to do my job. Why would they remove a feature like that?
much like office365, I would like to see other coworkers busy times in the calendar view and currently there is no way (that I know) to see "People's Calendars"
Removing key features to create a clean new interface with less buttons. What a stupid idea. Sure people like software to look nice but that has to be secondary to function.
How about I paint a beautiful watercolour of an inbox and we all use that as an email client. It has zero functionality but would look nice. Who's in?

Amazed that this is not a supported feature! This is a pretty integral feature! Cannot upgrade until this feature is available.
For those who don't want to read all the comments. The workaround is to add the peoples calendars in your iOS Outlook app. Then they will appear in the new Outlook on your mac.
For the time being an option that works for me. But please bring that back to the final version of that great app.
Didn't use much MS apps before teams and new outlook, now definitely on the edge of switching completly to MS. ON A MAC GUYS!
This is important too us as well and missing it. However, I'm liking the new Outlook for Mac to much to even consider switching back to Classic Outlook. I'll just use OWA when needing to view shared calendars for now. Hope to see it soon!
Seriously, how in the world was this not considered a TABLE STAKES feature in a business-focused email/calendar solution????
Shared calendars from my collegues are very important in our office. Ths function shoud be part of the new outlook for mac. Thanks for implement that.
