make it possible to sort the favorite folders
With more than 10 favorites, it is a must to put it in the order you choose.
Now reorder favorites in Insider Fast, version 16.42 (20090700) and newer. Please try it out and let us know what you think. Thanks!

I also had this problem, but noticed that in outlook for ios you can still change the order and once you do, it is reflected in outlook for mac. If not immediately reflected, just close and open app and it will be changed.
I've just accidentally removed the inbox from my favourites. I managed to re-add it but now it's at the bottom of the favourites list instead of at the top (or in such other place in the list as i'd like to have it)

Very pleased to see that you have implemented favourite folders in the new Outlook for Mac

Note there is a rudimentary way to sort the folders. If you unfavourite all your current folders, and then favourite them in order of preference from top to bottom.
It's not ideal, but it does work.
This is critical to my productivity.
Other than the features already listed as "Not implemented yet" that will be extremely nice to finally have (Contacts, Rules, Automatic Replies, Add-Ins, etc.) it would be nice if the favorite folders that are seen in the windows version, and the online version would be retained on the mac version. It's annoying that anytime you switch back and forth, or have to set up your mail again having to re-favorite all your folders. Would be nice to have that along with a scroll break between the favorite folders and your mailboxes. It's a pain when you're cleaning your inbox to scroll down to find a folder, and the next email you read is one of your favorites and so you either have to scroll all the way back up to where you know it's at, or find the folder it goes in while you're down towards the bottom. But having the favorites chorded off from the other mailboxes so that they were always visible would be nice to have back. Especially with the ability to collapse them like we already have.

Love the new Mac Look, BUT,... I can no longer manually re-order Favorite folders via Click & Drag
In the "Favorites" section, how come I cannot rearrange it to fit the order I need and want? Now you have to do it in a roundabout way. We should be able to drag and drop the sections so we can make it to our needs.
I agree that such a feature is needed!
Also need rename the favorites.
I also want to emphasize how vital this feature is.

Allow for favorites to be re-arranged by dragging the way you can in the old outlook
How are favourites even useful if you cant sort/organise them anyway you want.
We had drag and drop int he previous version

The order that the Favorites are listed in the left side pane is fixed. In the previous version of word, one could organize the Favorites by dragging and dropping but that is no longer possible. I prefer to have all the inboxes together, following by sent and then draft folders across different accounts... rather than organized by account.

Since updating to the al new MacOS version of Outlook, I like everything but noticed that the Favorites list has been re-ordered, in reverse order, i.e. Clutter at the top of the list and Inbox at the bottom. This is the exact opposite of the order that I go through my mailbox in a morning, and there's no way to re-order them.
It would be good to have an option to either right-click on a favourite and be allowed to organise them, or something from the main menu for this.
Having several inboxes, some email addresses are more active than others so it would be easier to have the most active folders on top.
I used to be able to reorder my folders in my favorites list however made sense but now they are ordered in a way I can't understand and am not able to change.
