Conversation threading should be a per-folder setting
Conversation threading should be a per-folder setting, so, for example, my Inbox could have it on and my Sent Mail could have it off.

Thanks for the suggestion, we are reviewing all feedback related to the new nested compose experience

Create an option to duplicate calendar events
This has long been a feature of 3rd party apps like Fantastical and I don't understand why Outlook doesn't have it yet. It's such a no-brainer and so handy. Right-click an event | Duplicate.

Color Coding email accounts
Like Spark Mail, or Canary Mail, the ability to color code email accounts. Would appear color coded in left nav bar and also with an indicator in email list.
Why? Makes it real easy to see what account an email came in to.

Support for email aliases
Would be great to have account support for email aliases per provider.

Send and Archive button
It will be very useful to integrate a button that, while replying to a mail, send a message and archive all the thread.

Implement web's reading pane
Outlook for Web condenses the conversation nicely; expanding only the most recent message and giving a preview of the others. You can then expand each previous message separately if you need more context.
I LOVE the Outlook web app and want it as a native macOS app.

Conditional formattting support
Please provide conditional formatting support just like Windows version. Would like to mark incoming mails with colors based on categories/rules

Ability to use an alias on Gmail
Was previously able to use an alias on a Gmail account, no longer able to do that on the new Outlook. Love it but this was an important feature. Can you restore?

Turn an Email / Calendar Invite into a Teams thread.
Have the ability to send an email to a group E.g. Interest Rate Changes and instead of sending emails back have the ability to turn into a chat underneath and in Teams. Like how Spark email does it at the moment with the Discuss email feature.
Would also be good for internal conversations on calendar invites, if someone wants to propose a new time or add info to the agenda. The calendar invite could become a Teams chat and files and chat could start around that meeting.

Fix quick creating new event in Calendar
When clicking button for 'New Event' upper left corner, all event features are available, and default settings from Preferences are followed. However if you double click on a time in the calendar to create a new event, the options are limited (unable to set status as 'Tentative', unable to set Reminder which is stuck at 15 minutes by default--not respecting the Preferences.

Add feature already in Windows (Previous/Next)
Mirror Windows version function related to "After moving or deleting an open item" and the option to return, open previous or next. Also, add previous/next buttons to email windows.

Support of MAC standard keyboard shortcuts
On MacOS you've standardised keystrokes when moving the cursor or editing text. It's very inefficient and distracting, that Outlook is not following this standard.
One example:
System wide you can use Ctrl-a to jump to the beginning of a line
In Outlook it selects all text. -> Very problematic for people who can write fast.21 votes -
Add a tool bar to the calendar view in the new Outlook for Mac UI.
On the new Calendar UI within Outlook for Mac add toolbar options (can still be simplified) but i cant seem to add a calendar category on the fly for instance within the calendar view, i need to open up each meeting - same goes for adding "show as"

Customize the Touch Bar
With the new Outlook for Mac starting new and waiting to be more like a native Mac application I would suggest allowing users to customize the Touch Bar options. Right now there are missing functions for the Touch Bar and the old version of Outlook for Mac did not allow for customization. It would be good to allow us to customize what functions we would like to have on the Touch Bar.

Make links to online meetings available from the notification
When a meeting contains a link to an online meeting (GTM, Zoom, etc), display the link in the notification so the event doesn't have to be opened to join the meeting. I'd rather the notification just be native, but if not at least there's a reason to not use MacOS's notification system

Folder pane forgets width setting
In the mail view the folders on left does not remember the width setting and needs constant resizing to see the folders

Filter Calendar by Category
My calendar is typically VERY full with overlapping things. I use categories to keep it all straight. PLEASE add the ability to view my calendar one category at a time (the checkboxes on the left-side under the calendar name). PLEASE!
