  1. Allow a right click on icons

Allow opening of a new function (Calendar, Notes, Email, etc.) with a right click on the icons at the bottom of the sidebar, without closing the existing window.

  2. funny cropping on the right hand side of the screen in full screen mode

I am on a mac, and I have had the new outlook app running everyday. if I have the app running in full screen for a while, it eventually cuts off part of the right hand side of the screen. it isn't a big deal, but i thought i would let you know.

  3. 'undo' and 'redo' buttons

I've been using the new format for a few days and am noticing the inconvenience of no longer having access to menu buttons for 'undo' and 'redo' when composing an email.

I've attempted to customise the toolbar, however, undo and redo and not among the buttons that can be added to the toolbar.

Weirdly, if I'm composing an email and then click "continue message in a separate window' icon, then the separate composing window is in the old Outlook format that has my undo and redo buttons in the top corner.

Please add 'undo' and 'redo' buttons to the new…

  4. Ensure the screen size adapts to actual screen

I love that I can see the calendar on the side of the outlook bar now however, unless you are in full screen the calendar slides off screen on my MacBook so I don't end up using the feature. Can you fix it so that the program is always the size of the screen you're using

  5. A little bug when maximizing the window

Good to see the new look on Mac. There is a small bug when maximizing the window on Mac that the bottom of the Outlook is blank. It seems like due to the hidden status bar in Mac system.

  6. Use accounts in Mac system

With changing to new Outlook for Mac all added accounts (in old version) were lost - only my Microsoft account is still there. And IMAP actual not possible. I'm not amused. If possible I had to do this again.
Please: Use the accounts I added in Mac system. Mail, Calendar and so on. One central place for maintenance

  7. Add dual full screen app support back

In the previous/"old" Outlook I was able to run Microsoft Teams and Outlook with the apps as side-by-side full screen apps in Mac OS. When running in the "old" outlook format, I could do this. In the new Outlook, I can only have this one app in full screen mode. Never had another app act like this before

  8. Let users hide the search bar

It would be nice to be able to hide the search bar at the top. It wastes a lot of space on the screen, and I don't use it all that frequently. A show/hide option would be great, and a keybind to search something when it is hidden would be even better!

  9. Out of office with appointment/meeting autoreply

If on my calendar I create an out of office appointment, outlook should also be able to recognize that and automatically engage the "out of office reply" mechanism based on an enable/disabled settings.

  10. Add option to hide Archive, Outbox and Saved Searches

I never use these three things and would appreciate if I could hide them from sight.

  11. My first ever encounter with New Outlook

First few hours with New Outlook and the list keeps growing,

    Unsupported basic features:
    1. On My Computer
    2. Shared Folders/Inbox
    3. Tasks
    4. Notes
    5. Address Book nowhere to be found – How to look up anyone or room in active directory?
    6. iCal file cannot be added as an appointment to the Calendar

    General:
    1. Unless the user is smart to customize toolbars in all different places there is no way to find any basic functionality that was easily available in the Ribbon and/or Toolbar in current/old Outlook. Super intuitive design idea by UI team!

    Sidebar (One that…

  12. Combine search bar with toolbar.

Having dedicated toolbar just for search seems unnecessary. Please place search bar next to "hide task pane" button.

  13. Show notification badge count on the dock icon when app is in the background

When the app is running but the window is closed (running in the background), the dock icon will not display notification badge count until the window is opened again.

  14. Make the new outlook play nice in portrait mode

I have 2 24" monitors at 1920x1080. One is rotated in portrait mode and I like to keep outlook on that display. The new outlook keeps resizing off screen

  15. Full screen mode doesn't keep the outlook view.

When the new outlook is in fullscreen mode, the layout of the app can spread to wide to see what's in a message. No horizontal scroll bars come up either. It becomes too big to fit on the screen.

  16. Match the window size to screen.

When the Agenda/ My Day tab is open, replying to an email somehow forces the window to expand past the edge of the screen and there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust this in the settings.

  17. I'd suggest rethinking the space-wasting application bar.

The new app bar, hosting just the search bar and window controls is a huge waste. Apple's new guidance for macOS 11 is to combine the window and title bar now.
