Folder pane forgets width setting
In the mail view the folders on left does not remember the width setting and needs constant resizing to see the folders

Customize the Touch Bar
With the new Outlook for Mac starting new and waiting to be more like a native Mac application I would suggest allowing users to customize the Touch Bar options. Right now there are missing functions for the Touch Bar and the old version of Outlook for Mac did not allow for customization. It would be good to allow us to customize what functions we would like to have on the Touch Bar.

Font size choices
There is currently one font size choice setting in Outlook. Please add options for font sizes for the mail index, mail body, etc. Changing the size for the index will make the font size in the mail messages too large or too small, depending on the setting.

Allow editing calendar invites without sending
In Outlook on Windows I can edit a calendar invite after receiving it or having the meeting, but cannot do this in Outlook on Mac.
I use my calendar to record my time as actually used. So two scenrios supported on Outlook for Windows are not in Outlook for Mac:
1. I receive an invite, and the meeting went longer than scheduled. I would like to adjust the meeting at a later point to reflect the additional time, but cannot do that without sending a response to the person who created the invite. I do not want to do that,…15 votes -
Make links to online meetings available from the notification
When a meeting contains a link to an online meeting (GTM, Zoom, etc), display the link in the notification so the event doesn't have to be opened to join the meeting. I'd rather the notification just be native, but if not at least there's a reason to not use MacOS's notification system

Conversation view - change in behavior
In conversation view, when there are multiple unread mails, when tried to view, it goes by default to the latest one. Earlier it used to go to the first unread mail in that conversation

Mail Clean Up
Add a Clean Up feature as the Windows version currently has to clear up any duplicate emails/unnecessary emails from conversation threads.

Add a tool bar to the calendar view in the new Outlook for Mac UI.
On the new Calendar UI within Outlook for Mac add toolbar options (can still be simplified) but i cant seem to add a calendar category on the fly for instance within the calendar view, i need to open up each meeting - same goes for adding "show as"

Turn an Email / Calendar Invite into a Teams thread.
Have the ability to send an email to a group E.g. Interest Rate Changes and instead of sending emails back have the ability to turn into a chat underneath and in Teams. Like how Spark email does it at the moment with the Discuss email feature.
Would also be good for internal conversations on calendar invites, if someone wants to propose a new time or add info to the agenda. The calendar invite could become a Teams chat and files and chat could start around that meeting.

To-Do in Sidebar
It would be great to have ToDo interface in the app on the sidebar, so that I can see all my categories and flagged mail and add things to My Day.

Now that new emails are created are inline please make a tab system so I can have multiple drafts open within the one outlook window.

approval assistant support
Would like to be able to accept or deny approval emails for DL emails as I can in the browser or the Windows client. Most annoying as I need both the browser and Mac client open.

Let me hide the Delete button when hovering on messages
To prevent accidental message deletions, allow me to remove the Delete button that appears when hovering on messages in Inbox.
Ideally, I could customize which buttons appear when hovering using a dialog similar to the toolbar customization dialog.

Larger indicators for flags/categories for messages
Categories and Flags should have more visible color indicators- the minimal style is hard to parse visually as it can be in different places. If there is only one applied, then a full background color (like in the old days) would be wonderful. But even having a larger bar that is full height on the left side would be much more useful than the moving items we have now.

New message, meeting should be in toolbar like in web client
New message, meeting should be in toolbar like in web client (these things should really be consistent).. it's much better to put all operation in the toolbar instead of randomly splitting this one off and segregating it by itself in the blue area... took me 5-10mins to find it 🙁

Give both mark as read and mark as unread option when multiple emails are selected
When selecting multiple emails with varying read/unread statuses, only one option (mark as read/mark as unread) is available.
I'd like to have both options in the context menu.

Support for Online Archive policies
When using Online Archiving it would be useful to have access to the archive policies when right-clicking a folder or email.
In the 'old' Outlook for Mac client this feature was never supported but it is available in Outlook on the Web today.

Fix the focus / double click issue when opening emails
There is a bug that if you are not focused on Outlook, then double click an email you want to open, it opens the previously selected email. You then have to make sure you are focused in outlook, then double click the one you want.
Instead of doing that, it should focus the email you click, THEN open that email. It looks like the events are firing in the wrong order or something weird....
Try it for yourself. It's pretty irritating.

Ability to Add Events in My Day
In the new My Day view if you could right click to add events and have the mini-event modal show up that would almost completely eliminate the need to go into the regular Calendar for some of your users.
