Microsoft ToDo Integration
Preferably on the sidebar similar to how it's handled on the web.
701 votesWe are working on integrating tasks/to-do into My Day, just like in Outlook for Web.

When clicking 'To Do/Tasks' in the Outlook sidebar, it should open the Microsoft To-Do app instead of opening Microsoft To-Do in a browser

Add Tasks follow up options
Add these “Follow up” pre-set options for Tasks: “in 3/4/5/6 days”. Also make “Custom date” selectable for multiple listed tasks simultaneously.

I suggest you add a button to create a task from an email
I suggest you add a button to create a task from an email body that is highlighted. When a text is highlighted you should be able to create a task quickly from there with being able to link back to the original email as a reference.Inviting people to a task would be a nice touch as well.

I suggest you add Microsoft To Do planned tasks to the agenda view
At the top of each day in the agenda view, have tasks that are planned for that day.

Add complete status when unflagging emails
The ticking/checking function after you have flagged something is a necessity, which you always been able to do on the windows and also on the old mac app.
It's quite a useful way to go through your inbox because you can check off all your emails for the day and know you've dealt with everything and nothing is left undone. It's a bit of a lifesaver on my end!
It's just a little grey tick in the top right of each email on the old Outlook. On the windows app, it's a bright green tick.
For now I've moved back…

Add support for categories in to do app like in tasks in Windows Outlook version
You can add categories to tasks in Outlook on Windows. I would like to have the same feature in the To Do on Mac

I suggest you enable an Omnifocus add-in
I use Omnifocus as a task manager. It is very powerful. The inability to directly use Omnifcous (there are work-arounds, but clunky) with outlook keeps me from using it as my primary email client.

Provide support for Apple MacOS/iOS Reminders created in the AppleReminders app.
Apple Reminders serves the same function as To-Do. Our family uses Apple Reminders and it would be good to have this information sync into Outlook.

Webversion tasks and notes only available with School/work-account
Make access to web tasks and notes available for personal users. When Clicking on task / notes from WITHIN THE NEW OUTLOOK you are directed to the outlook.com version. But this is only accessible with a school or work account. When trying to enter your personal account, the message appears that this this service is'n accessible? Why? Please fix this!

Me parece mala idea!

Add back capacity to flag emails and create smart folders
Integrating tasks with flagged emails and organizing by due date is an ESSENTIAL function for me

Prioritise getting the Task pane to work
I switched to new Outlook and the Task pane doesn't appear, nor can I see it any more if I switch back to the old Outlook. Why have you rolled this out when it's incomplete? So frustrating.
