The user should be able to permanently disable "expressions." I use Hotmail mainly for professional work, and the expressions are not professional. It is highly annoying to have text such as "Thank you" be highlighted, and half the screen be used up by emojis and gifs that I will never use.
It seems unanimous - please please please allow users to turn off Expressions. I use Outlook for my business email - I will never, ever use one of those silly animated GIF's. Expressions and Top Results are two features in Outlook email that are beyond useless - they are distracting.
I want to turn off the Expressions Pane. The highlighted suggestion is annoying. Email me: email@example.com

How do I turn off "expressions"?

Stop using Expressions just because I type in a word like thanks

In outlook beta I HATE the auto expression selection feature, it's highly distracting.
Please turn off the automatic insert of expressions. How do I turn this off? It is VERY annoying. I just want to press "return" and it will insert a smily emoji.
How can I delete the annoying "expressions" link that pops up with emoticons?
