Junk button has a "not" symbol next to it
The circle with a line through it means "no" or "not", correct? So putting that next to the word "Junk" means "Not junk". Does this button actually mark an email as "not junk" as the icon would indicate? Nope, it does the opposite. I think you need a different icon for the "Mark as junk" button or simply use the words "Mark as junk" so that it's obvious. Having the button say "Not junk" is the opposite of what the button does.

unbelievable. I can report this data loss 100%. If you show a linked Windows Live contact and Outlook contact if you unlink them the Windows Live contact is gone and so is all the info... unrecoverable!!! And worse yet, YOU DIDN'T EXPORT THE INFO FROM THE WINDOWS LIVE CONTACT portion. Holy ****! This is basic testing over a Priority 0 ("Data Loss") scenario. How can I recommend this service to anyone?

There is a hidden test folder under "deleted items" in my account. I cannot move a folder called 'test' there, but yet nothing shows up onder the "deleted items" label, and the "deleted items" label shows a nesting icon like expanding a folder on windows explorer.

All this messing around with this beta process just makes life more miserable
Why do you have to mess w/the outlook format, it works just fine as it is... there don't seem to be any improvements as far as I'm concerned... leave it alone. If there are issues that create problems, work on those, but don't attack the whole format as it is... changing the headers where we find reply, etc. .. quit making us search for the location of Reply, send, etc. use English instead of all these icons and quit moving things around.

New feedback from Outlook.com (React)
Starting today, 12-11-17, something is very wrong with the view of my Hotmail emails. It is impossible to see an entire email (beginning to end), and it is impossible to see what other emails in a chain are below an email (related emails are listed, but its unclear if they're just related or were actually forwarded below the specific email). Its really a disastrous change - I cannot figure out how to forward one specific email, and I can't easily find old emails separately because they're all clumped together. Please, please, please, revert back to the prior, more simple view.

The new UI for Outlook is one of the worst UI's I have ever seen. The bar to the left is nonsense, going through long threads of e-mail is visually tiring, the whole screen isn't used for some reason. Please reconsider this, the previous UI was miles better.

This is ridiculous. Just sent myself a test email and still nothing. If this is not sorted out within 24 hours I will sue Microsoft.

After I've sent a message with recipients on the BCC line, it seems I can no longer see the list of who it was sent to. Can that be added?

I am trying Outlook beta and have had problems from recipients whose replies to me are bounced. I have notice that although my address book has my proper email address when I look at my sender's detail on an email I've sent it has a convoluted email address as follows outlook-ca4f0ff06a1fb64@outlook.com. I'm going back to "non-beta" to see if this problem arises there.

I am having a hard time accessing my hotmail account. Are you phasing out hotmail? Is it time for me to change to a gmail account? Would that be an easy transition for a long time hotmail user?

I think the beta version is not appealing.
I think the beta version is not appealing. The old or classic outfit is for me clearer and more pleasant structure. Unfortunately, most users have no or little influence on the fact that changes in the structure are often not necessary. I myself am an IT systems specialist and work as far as I have the opportunity privately and also very professionally with the classical structure. I know that many of my colleagues and friends would also think and wish if changes were proposed, but users would like to decide on the desktop themselves. This greatly facilitates the efficiency and…
