Help - inbox was automatically deleted - and trash only goes back a few weeks249 votes
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have a few questions to understand what’s going wrong.
1. Is the entire inbox empty or are only a few mails missing?
2. Is this an intermittent issue? Are the mails sometimes visible and sometimes not?
3. Are you trying to look for the mails through the search icon or are you scrolling to the date to search for the mail?

We’ve fixed a related bug on iOS 10.3. If you’re on this version of iOS, do let us know if you’re still not able to see your mail.
If you have the Focused/Other inbox toggled on, can you check if the new mail you’re not seeing are in the Other inbox?
Thank you for reaching out. We are looking into why this might be happening. In the meantime it will help if you let us know what is the device and browser you guys are using. Also is the sign out option missing or is nothing happening when you tap on it?
I cannot see email content in my junk mail content even when I have said show blocked content. I'm using an android mobile for this.3 votes
Thank you for reaching out. A quick question – are you using the Outlook mobile app or accessing outlook.com through the mobile browser?
Make it load the inbox.....it's ******* revolutionary to have an email I get emails at and can see the mail. Trust me.
When you log in the inbox folder onset just appear as empty no matter how many times you load it...how about we change that to loading your actual inbox... I understand this may seem impossible but I have faith in youguys. XD7 votes
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you have had issues loading your inbox. Can you tell us if this was an intermittent issue which got fixed later? This could happen if you’re on a flaky internet connection.
I have mail in folders on that I can see on the website, but cannot see on the app. Please fix this. It’s extremely frustrating.1 vote
Thank you for reaching out to us. Can you confirm if you’re not able to find mail in certain folders when you’re using outlook.com from the mobile browser? Or if you’re facing issues with finding mail in the Outlook mobile app?
