    We have also added a setting to remove the avatar from the message list so you can use that turn it off.

  2. Spam/junk email showing up in Inbox

    Why can’t you have a more efficient spam filter? When I get 10 emails saying the same dumb **** which is obviously spam, can’t I just block certain words? Or better yet, can’t you block emails even coming through to my spam folder/inbox which are obviously spam? I don’t need them, and I’m probably not alone...

  3. Rich text formatting while composing mails

    I purchased Office 365 specifically to have email functionality across all platforms. It is unacceptable that there is no way to format text in the Outlook app, in the body of the email but especially in the email signature. How is it possible that basic HTML, bold text, italics is not an option in 2020? How is it that people have been asking for this functionality for years, something that is already available in other android and iOS mail apps, yet Microsoft can't deliver? I'm regretting my purchase. Please get this done!

    We regret that you’re missing the ability to add rich text formatting to your mails. We have this ability today in the Outlook mobile app for iOS and Android which can downloaded from the app stores.

    We will consider bringing this ability to Outlook on the mobile browser in the future as well.

  4. Not receiving emails

    Hi, I set up an email for my daughter. I can log into it without difficulty however no emails are being received. None are in the junk folder either. Not sure why? Help would be much appreciated.

  6. Update mobile site responsiveness for basic email functionalities for most popular browsers.

    The outlook mobile site still lags heavily no matter the browser being used to access outlook. On my Galaxy Note 9, when I tap to send an email, 50% of the time nothing happens for 10-30 seconds. No animation, no popup, no notifications.

    Obviously as a user, I automatically keep tapping send until the window changes back to the folder I was previously on. This happens on all browsers I use (chrome, Samsung Internet), even Edge for Android. I only downloaded Edge expecting a smoother Outlook mobile experience for work, and it's just as clunky on the Edge browser too.…

    I have changed my password because i felt that my email was hacked but after i changed the password. Why all my inbox from several device is still running? It's suppose to resign in? I dont feel safety right now i changed my handphone number and this is need 1 month to approve. Is that still safe for my acc?

  10. Delete mail by sender

    I have eleven thousand plus emails on my page. I would love to be able to search for one of the stupid things I'm subscribed to and delete every single email they have ever sent me. (Not just the first 25 that are selected when you search and then hit select all) like Safeway for instance who I want to receive emails from but every email prior to last week they've ever sent me is completely useless to me I don't need ones from January still in my box and they are still in my inbox right now. Lol. If…

    We select only 25 mails at a time in the search screen by default but you can always scroll down to fetch more mail and then select them all again by tapping the “select all tick” icon on the top left twice.

    Also you can filter out all the mail from a particular sender by using the “from:” keyword in search. For example you could put “from: Safeway” to search for all mail from Safeway.

    To set up advanced rules, you will need to access Outlook from a desktop browser.

    I can't find my junk mail folder. It was there yesterday. I check it daily because sometimes important emails accidentally go there.

    Is the junk folder not visible only when you access outlook on the mobile browser? Or is it not visible from the desktop as well?

  12. Safe sender

    Make it easier to add senders to the safe sender list, it's taken me ages to find this feature in the full desktop version and I'd appreciate it in the mobile version as I'm forever having to fish thinks out of my junk mail. Thanks.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry that you haven’t been able to block certain contacts. We are considering bringing this ability to outlook on the mobile browser. However in the meantime you can do this from outlook.com on a desktop or a laptop.   16. Recover deleted items

    How about adding the recover deleted items to both classic and beta mobile sites! I don't know how many times I've needed a deleted item on my phone but can't recover it unless I'm on a desktop.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are considering adding the option to recover deleted items in the outlook.com experience on the mobile browser. In the meantime you can recover your deleted items if you access outlook.com on a laptop or a desktop. Just go to the “Deleted Items” folder and you will find the option to recover deleted items.   18. Do not show turn off automatic replies if an end date has been set

    Do not show the button to turn off automatic replies if I have already set an end date. I know the automatic replies are going on and I have already told you when to turn it off.

    I understand if you want to tell me this if I have not set an end date.

  19. Outlook groups not available.

    My custom email groups are not available in the beta. It is the one reason that I regularly have to disable the beta. This has been going on too long for such simple functionality not to have been fixed by now.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear you are missing outlook groups on the mobile browser.

    If you only want to send email to a group, you can still do that from the mobile browser. If you’re also following the group, all group mail will come to your inbox and you can see it in the mobile browser too.

    Does that solve your use cases or do you need the dedicated groups section?
