Dark mode needs to include message compose. Currently UI is dark but new compose message is eye searing white.130 votes
Hi all – Just wanted to let you know that as of today we are starting to roll out support for dark compose. This will mean you don’t have to have the white screen when writing an email.
Also this week you should now be able to select themes when you have dark mode enabled!
Thanks for the awesome feedback and suggestions.
Need to be able to access Distribution Groups (not Office 365 Groups) from OWA like in old version so users can self-service join/leave.891 votes
Hi all – Thanks again for providing us with all of the feedback. I just wanted to let everyone know that you should now be seeing Distribution Group Management in the new Outlook on the web experience.
You might need to refresh your browser.
Thanks, and keep the great feedback coming!
And also, why does it open a new tab every time I go to the calendar? That's really stupid459 votes
Notification bell has been shipped to all Enterprise users, and we’ve fixed it so that each module opens in the same tab.
By the way, we’re working on adding some new scenarios to the notifications bell. Could you take this survey to let us know what scenarios you are most interested in?
Thanks for the feedback!
I can't find a place to add my signature in this new outlook. i had it set up in the old version, but it did not carry through. please help!276 votes
First off, thank you for taking the time to use the new Outlook on the web experience and for taking the time to provide feedback! I just wanted to let you know that we do have signature settings in the experience already.
Click on the gear in the top right hand corner.
In the search box type in signature.
This will show a link to the Email Signature. Which will then take you right to the signature settings.
The search function is not working! this is why google is so much better than outlook. I would never use this if it wasn't imposed by my employer.454 votes
Hi everyone, the mail search issue has been fixed. Thank you reporting.
When in dark mode you should have the ability to select the accent color320 votes
Hi all – Just wanted to let you know that as of today you should be able to start picking themes when you are in dark mode. This should give you a bit more options to make it look and feel like your own!
Also over the next two weeks we are also adding dark compose for when you are writing your emails. This way you don’t have to see a white screen as well :)
Thanks for the suggestions!
No GAL showed up in the new Outlook.572 votes
Thanks for your patience. The new Outlook Web is now outfitted with a contact picker that lets you browse your Global Address List and other lists when you compose an email. This has been deployed to all customers.
In the Calendar: Using the old outlook, the search function was able to pull up a coworkers calendar to see their schedule and availability. Using the new outlook, the search function only looked for my events on my own calendars. Please allow other calendars to be searched for.348 votes
We have completed the work that allows you to search and add a users calendar. After executing a search for a resolved person, you will see an option at the top of the list view that allows you to “Add Calendar”. Once you do this, you will be able to see both calendars together.
I used share mailboxes a lot as a small business. With the new outlook, I was no longer able to switch to my shared mailboxes. I immediately switched back. This needs to be fixed.275 votes
Hi there – I just wanted to provide an update and give some more information about the Shared Mailboxes.
First the easiest solution is to click on the Picture/Initials in the top right hand corner (me card) and select Open Mailbox. This way you can open the full mailbox in another tab.
The second option, you can right click on the Folders word in the left pane (folder list). From here select Add Shared Folder.
Hope this helps!
In the new version I can't drag the attachments between a windowed mail to antoher new messages.
Now I need to save the attachment and then to reattach to the new message.614 votes
Thanks for reaching out to us! This functionality has actually existed since the new Outlook Web was first released.
I *love* the new calendar view that shows today as double-width. So much better use of screen space for what I care about most.
Best feature I've seen come to outlook in a VERY long time.777 votes
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you enjoy this new functionality!
The old calendar UI (colored blocks with white text) was more readable than the new version. The new version is too bright/harder to look at.513 votes
Thank you for your feedback! The deployment for an option to switch to more saturated calendar colors in the new Outlook on the web is now complete.
If you would like to try out this experience, please click on the gear icon in the top right of your calendar module to access your settings, and toggle “Bold event colors”.
I used to be able to drag the email attachments to a new email but I cannot do that in the new version410 votes
We think we’ve fixed this issue. Please let us know if you are still experiencing this problem with dragging and dropping attachments into a new email.

Hi there – Thanks for providing feedback about the new experience. I did want to quickly follow-up and let you know that you can easily disable conversation view. Click on the Gear in the top right and turn off Conversation View.
Hope that helps!

Thank you for letting us know about this. We are working to update the outdated link with new content. Also, for reference here are the instructions to manage add-ins:
In Calendar, you can view a calendar shared among people, but when you click +New Event, it will only allow you to add the Event into a calendar you own. This is not very efficient for a calendar that requires many Events from several different people.224 votes
Thanks for using the new Outlook on the web. You can create an event on a shared calendar by selecting the calendar drop down in the title bar of the event creation form.
When printing out the calendar I would like the option to print out the detailed calendar like in the old outlook calendar, please.

New Outlook (office 365) - cannot easily see where to add a new shared calendar. Did a fish design the new web interface, it is terrible!208 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’ve rolled out the new Add Calendar experience, which should help you in adding shared calendars. See the “Add Calendar” button on the left column of the calendar.
