  1. "Mark as not Junk" is broken when the mailbox is added as shared in OWA

"Mark as not Junk" is broken when we try to remove an email from the junk folder when the mailbox is added as shared in OWA. But when we open it as another mailbox or in Outlook Desktop the option "mark as no junk" is working as expected.

  2. Update the description in the Blocked Senders tab in Junk E-mail options

The description in the Blocked Senders tab says that E-mail from addresses or domain names on your Blocked Senders List will always be treated as junk e-mail. However, some emails actually will get quarantined as spam filtering actions will be applied to them depending on actions set for the spam filter. So, I would like you to add or update the explanation in the Blocked Senders tab to include description for the spam filtering actions.

When filtering (i.e. performing a search within) the Junk Email folder, the "Not junk" button is unavailable.

  4. Rules

I see an emails that went to junk. Find the ones which are not spam. Mark them as not spam. Then they go into inbox. Then I create a rule for them to be automatically go to other folders. As soon as I run the rule these emails go back to junk. Why?

  5. BUG: Safe Senders are not saving

BUG: Safe Senders list is not saving

    1) Open browser and navigate to the Safe Senders list.
    2) Click Add
    3) Enter an email address or domain
    4) Press Enter
    5) Click Save
    6) Close all browser windows
    7) Open browser and go to the safe senders list

    Observation:
The Safe Senders list does not contain the email address or domain added.

    Expected:
The Safe Senders list contains the email address or domain.

  7. junk email settings

Setting for automatic junk mail filtering is no longer in the Settings. You're stuck with it on or off until you go back to Old Outlook and go to those Settings. It's fairly hard to find even there.

Need to put that toggle switch back in.

Page for that setting in Old Outlook (which you can get to with this url without actually switching back to Old Outlook):

  9. SCL and BCL column

SPAM is not as simple as a “yes” or “no” answer. Users should be able to add a column in Outlook to display the SCL and BCL values at a glance. Today it requires a good bit of knowledge and extra hoop jumping to examine the headers to get these details that can otherwise be very valuable to an end user trying to determine the value of an email.

  10. pop up ads

Since switching, I continue to get pop up ads. I hate that- especially since this is a work email account.

  11. Need way to mark a spam email and block at same time.

Need way to easily mark an email as spam - also to indicate if it might be nefarious and upon spam submission automatically block it.

  14. spam block button on tooolbar

In the old version, when a user is in the Spam folder there was a direct button on the bar that would block the sender. Now, it is hidden in a drop down menu on the 'Not Junk' button.

It would be really great to get it back directly on the bar.

  16. Spam filter ignores reports as not-spam

Since starting to use Outlook/Exchange I have had a number of messages marked as spam that are actually quite important. I have been trying to train my filter to accept specific messages, but it ignores my reports! When I mark a message as not-spam and send (or don't send) a report, it will disappear from my spam box for ~5 seconds, and then re-appear, as apparently it has been re-filtered into spam.

I can repeat this multiple times on the same message, or on multiple different messages. I am unable to train the spam filter and explicitly marking messages as…

  18. Add a spam folder.

I think there should be spam folder. First it asks you what type of emails you consider spam, then, whenever you recieve that email, it notifies you and it gets put in the spam flder.
