Searching/Filtering mail by months or date
I would like to Informe you that according to a specific date or month Mail can not be gotten. such as if I want to see all mail of Last December 2019 or want to see 1/1/2019 to 1/2/2019 all mail.

Search from Address Bar
Allow users to search via the address bar in Outlook on the web. This would allow me to save a search as a URL and refer back to it whenever I need it.

Search for sensitivity labels
Build a filter for sensitivity labels. There's currently no way on the web to search for private items, such as sensitivity:private

[Dislike]:Search disappeared (actually moved around)
Moving the Search bar into the Title area was not a great idea. In fact as previously it sat on top of the emails it was right at hand.
Instead of moving it around, why don't you create and enable a Search tab? That would be the best because that was the way it used to be in the old Offices AND according to UI experts that is still the best to have a separate Edit/Search menu or tab for the copy paste search actions. Search was always at hand in the old old versions, and could be found easily…1 vote -
Enable the partial match to search users to be added into the To field when creating a meeting request
Currently, we can use only forward match to search users to be added in the To field when creating a meeting request. Therefore, it would be great if we could use the partial or soft match to search objects to be added in the To field.

implmenet from:me search
Add "from:me" operator. If somebody needs to search for literal "me", suggest using quotes in hints. Display hint as the top search result with different style

Introducing categories in the search function
Good idea that search function is now extended to keyword. However, if you just want to search for e.g. a sender, you get too many results, because all mails will be listed where the sender's name mentioned in the text. Would be easier, if you introduce search categories, like:
- from
- to
- cc
- bcc
- subject
- keywordOther users may have further ideas.

Horrendously Poor Search
You email search function in Outlook (especially Outlook desktop) is horrendously useless. Honestly, instead of rolling out "Dark mode" you should work on allowing us to actually find emails.

Filters/Search
Searching and filter should be combined so I can search by sender/keyword and then filter based on unread, flag color(otherwise what's the point of adding flags), has attachment etc. The search/filter function is very lacking.

Search folder
Enable Search folders in OWA, this is a brilliant option. It would be better if Search Folders were synced through other Outlook Apps too, like Desktop, Android & etc...
We should be able to search any type of Outlook item (Mail, People, Calendar, Notes and Tasks). It'll be even better if we can search through Teams messages too.

Can't search Korean and English mixed recipient name proble in the OWA
If recipient name is '홍길동(Kildong Hong)'.
Can search '홍길동', but 'Kildong', 'Kildong Hong'... can't search it.1 vote -
search and find needs improving
Search fails to open the email it has found! A list appears with yellow highlight of search keywords, but when you click the email it opens another email. The original email was sent in a mass broadcast and the search is for a reply from one person in the broadcast. When selecting the search found item it opens a chain of emails relating to the broadcast but the one I need is not visible. This is a basic need and a bug in Outlook.

limit the search to a specific folder
There seems to be no way to limit the search to a specific folder, ie. you archive or inbox.
