Coworkers' calendar management (search, tabs, lists) has become pretty painful
In the previous version of calendar, it was very easy to add other coworkers' calendars using the search bar and remove them after having set the meeting time. But in the new version this workflow has become very painful:
- search bar only allows to search among already selected calendars, which forces us to search manually among all contacts' lists and groups in the left panel to find our coworkers
- the left panel's groups cannot be reordered, and the state open/closed for groups is not saved which makes it very uncomfortable to use when you have a lot of contacts and groups to search and everything is already opened
- once they are added on the calendar's, coworkers are not displayed above the calendar as tabs with a cross to remove them anymore which forces us to scroll again in the left panel to deactivate them
These UX flaws make this new calendar really uncomfortable to use. It is a pity because besides that, the new Outlook version is pretty good in my opinion, with a lot of small but noticeable UI and UX improvements.
