Delete button next to Read button
The delete button is right next to the mark-as-read button and I keep accidentally deleting messages

When deleting an email, with delete key on keyboard, the next email should be automatically active. So you can delete one after another without having to click on them individually.
Always used to be like this until recent update. -

At least 3 times when I've clicked somewhere in the middle of an email in my inbox it has gotten deleted. The delete button (along with other action buttons) are invisible until you hover the mail. If you just click in the middle of it the buttons appear a fraction of a fraction of a second before you click and you have no chance of seeing them appearing. Placing these buttons out in the margin as gmal does works much better, as it isn't where you typically would press to open the email.

Delete button should not be at first place. Chance of human error will be more. Put reply button instead of Delete button.

Delete button used to mark all email as unread, or move it further from "New message" button.
