Wastes vertical space everywhere - cannot see what's necessary
UI layout is demonstrably worse. It wastes vertical space everywhere: the inbox list, the message preview, and on and on. The point of the email inbox is to scan through what needs attention, WITHOUT SCROLLING. You cannot do this if it only shows a few emails because of all the wasted space.
Art = spaced out
Functional = shows what you need to see
This is a tool, it is NOT ART. Function must triumph form and it does not.
Do not try to make a desktop UI spaced out enough for fat-fingered tablet jockeys. Make a tablet UI for them. Make a functional MOUSE UI for the desktop. And please tell this to the Windows 10 team as well.
Email layout sucks! Wastes space. I have to have two email boxes open at a time and I need to see who the sender was and what the topic was o both of them. Forget the graphics. We work with information, not pictures.
There is FAR too much wasted space everywhere. The old left side was nice and fit allowing one to see all of their categories. The right side also has so much space between the emails that you can see less than half as many emails as you could before. The additional details in the emails that are shown is nice, but not at the expense of seeing half as many emails.

Minimise the space of paragraph on web page & Down the letter size.
I could not agree more with your comments! Its horrible and inefficient.
Wasted Vertical Space for "Add Calendar" & "Import Calendar" - please remove from the vertical sidebar. These are wasted space.

I agree 1000% with everything you are saying. The old Outlook is much simpler and easier to view; I absolutely despise how much space each email takes up in the new version.

Your new version has broken the chat facility.
