Not only is this creepy, it DOES NOT save me any time - it takes more time because I cannot just type. I have to be careful that it types what I want and not what is being suggested. THIS SUCKS! No other way to say it. It should be OPT IN and not OPT OUT - but at least give us a way to OPT OUT!!!

Suggesting responses means that our emails are being READ (if even by a bot with an algorithm). This constitutes an invasion of privacy. This entire system needs to be eliminated. I am horrified every time I see suggestions for responses.

By making AUTO SUGGESTIONS something you must OPT OUT of you have added another task for people who don't want it. If one is not computer savvy and uses the computer for basic stuff, you have now doomed them to annoying pop-ups for a long time.
I notice the long process posted below about how to delete - WHAT???? All that, which most people will not see, to get rid of something????
YES THEY ARE CLEVER, NO they are NOT helpful.
PLEASE GET RID OF THE AUTO REPLIES AND TEXT SUGGESTIONS!! Impressive programming, but NOT USER FRIENDLY. -

BUG: auto format does cannot be turned off
As the auto format frequently interferes with correct text entry when composing email messages there needs to be a way to turn it off. -

Just make those suggestions go away. It is annoying and insulting. I know how to write an email and do not need stupid suggestions from an email client. JUST MAKE IT STOP!

Cancel your "helpful" e-mail response suggestions. They are useless and irritating.

Stop violating my privacy by reading my e-mails and suggesting 3 quick and easy responses!!

Those suggested responses infuriate me; it's as if some numbskull is reading my email over my shoulder and then intruding into my private conversation with "duh, hey I got good ideas for a response."

I fully agree. I really like suggested responses. If you have to continue them, could you PLEASE make a way to turn them off??

Just stop. I don't want "suggestions" to do anything. It's so invasive and, quite frankly, creepy.
Oh, this post needs moderator "approval"? I wonder if it will appear....
