Turn Spelling Auto Correct OFF
Please give us a way to turn off spell check auto correct. It is making corrections that are wrong, and because we don't see them, mail is going out with errors, where an incorrect word has been substituted for a misspelled word.

I dont see why in every other browser window I am using, anywhere on the internet I use text.. my spellcheck of choice lets me right click and use the dictionary I have been working with. Except here, where Microsoft things it would be much better to change the 20 or 30 year old standard for how to select the spelling error and change it.
Its frustrating and unwanted.

Yes, it is appalling and interferes with and undermines people's autonomy in communication and literacy.

The autocorrect function is not only appalling, it is a potential security issue with the contents of emails being read by anonymous software packages.

I want to be able to turn off the automatic tab feature permanently, not each time I use it.

Require ability to turn off auto replacement/auto correct.
The auto replacement nearly always does the wrong thing and much time is lost reworking incorretly, auto-corrected, words and other formtting. -

There are some areas where I didn't want auto - correct done by web Outlook (office 365). I didn't find way to reverse / undo. Really irritating.

no way to turn off auto-format. The new Outlook causes my first line of text to be in red. Also when I sign a letter with a dash then space then my name it created a list.
This would be tolerable IF you could turn off auto-format. Since you can't I'm switching back to the old version.
