Color coding Emails/Sorting senders by Color and Font
My Agency just switched to this version of Outlook. It is extremely frustrating to me because it lost a lot of features that I used to use to organize my inbox. The main thing is that I cannot change the color or font of my email senders. I used to have my supervisor's emails in bold red with a different font to so that I could quickly see his emails in the event that immediate actions needed to be taken. This is no longer here.
The color scheme (no matter what theme you select) are not easy on the eyes at all. The emails all seem to merge. I have no idea what those little colored circles that have the first and last initials are supposed to do, but if they were the tradeoff for conditional formatting/color and font changing, then they were not worth it. Please fix this.
I wouldlike to be able to color code both emails I receive as well as those I send out so I know what type of email it is from another and what tasks need to be done for that email - often I color code emails to instruct my assistant what to do with the email - There are no options or way to do that with your set up now. A color can be a colored box next to the email and have it allow for a few colors. Enable this so that I can assisgn the name of each color tag It also seems impossible to move or transfer emails from now to the old or the other way around. Deleting is also a problem.
