agree with the comments that the Office 365 version of Outlook search function doesn't work. I've already cut and pasted a phrase from an email (no possibility of misspelling) and that email doesn't show up in search results. Basically, the new search function is worthless, and impossible to trust the Microsoft software.

The search engine SUCKS! When searching names, emails, and various other items no results are found. And what is found is not related to the search. Before the update it pulled up text in the emails and that's what I need to search and cannot search my emails anymore. FIX THIS PLEASE! Put it back!

The search function stopped working entirely with the recent upgrade. It displays a "Searching" screen but never comes up with a result even when I tested using the first item I knew was in my inbox.

You're right, the search function doesn't work. I can search on terms I know exist in previous emails, and it only brings up the ones from the last month.
Now, I know that searching algos have only been out for a brief time, maybe 30 - 35 years, so I can understand that Microsoft is still getting the kinks ironed out. Also, we need to remember that Microsoft is just a tiny startup, with only 144,000 employees, and only about $12 Billion in cash reserves. Finally, we need to remember that there aren't that many office users (only about 1.2 Billion).
So, we can't be too upset with Microsoft for being unable to develop a basic search engine for the little-used web Outlook.

Don't like the new email as much. Search box is less conveniently located and doesn't seem to work/perform as well. Also, can't drag email an email address from one box to another. Needs to add functionality of desktop outlook not take away the already more bare bones functionality of webmail.
