Cluttered
The presentation of the emails is too cluttered. The uniform look of the previous version is more pleasing to the eye. With the new version it feels like I have to do more work to even differentiate between emails in the list format.

When I first opened my email and I saw that it had changed I was shocked because it looked like there were about a million things going on. It was really broken up and made it difficult to look at.

Outlook 365 has lost so much of the functionality of the old Outlook which was a much cleaner view. It also allowed me to resize columns and they would stay the size instead of reverting to default every time I open and close it. I'd like to be able to order the columns i.e. importance, attachment, from, subject etc.

Needs to be cleaned up - less cluttered. I know anything new takes some getting used to, but with the new version I don't know where to start!!

The older outlook web version feels visually light and less cluttered as compared to the new one. E.g. I can take in more, quicker overview of the mails in the older one, it doesn't feel as daunting as that in the newer one. May be it has something to do with the font size and colours. Anyway, keep up the good work. All the best.

Do not like at all.....extremely cluttered, too many conversations show up with each email, cannot tell if an email has already been opened and liked the small, easy to find email list from before.

Old Outlook mail view was simpler and easier to read.
Just keep things simple please!

I find it looks cluttered and busy with the coloured circles/pictures. It's not needed, keep it simple.

I would like to be able to see as many email in the mail list as possible. removing the ICON, putting the sender, subject, date/time, category all on the same line. would help. Currently I can see three at a time, it makes it hard to scroll through the 100 email you have in the morning to determine which are the most important and need to be addressed first.

Outlook is more cluttered and even more hard to use than the previous version. Can't even update my contacts in Outlook. Prefer gmail. FIX IT~!!

The mail messages are clear enough but the reply function requires that I scroll up to enter my reply. I would like the text box to come in place automatically as in the old version.

Too busy- messages take up too much space, with the pictures in line. Looks too cluttered - like Gmail.

Hi Outlook Team,
I liked the modern look. But as a UX and UI designer myself, i felt the UI was a bit cluttered and finding the info that i need was tough, maybe it may take sometime to get used to it.
I understand that page needs to convey a lot more info than any other apps, but it feels like there is no breathing space, which may add up user tension.
Also using a mix of colors for text especially on the mail list view is not visually appealing.
Concluding, I would recommend a white UI with less clutter!
I thank the outlook team for bringing us the change! Keep up the good work!Cheers,

There are too many colors and way too much going on. It is hard to look at. The old version was much more streamlined

Scrolling through emails takes up the top half of the screen horizontally. You can adjust to be able to see more emails at a time while scrolling but then it takes away from the space the actual message appears in.

it has even less screen space than the old version, this time by displaying icons. Why would we need icons? Go for simplicity, not for complications.
