This answer doesn't work
With Outlook OWA, we struggle with the emoji feature that forces us to use an emoji after typing space+colon.
In french, a space preceed a colon FYI.
How do we disable that feature?
This is so frustrating.
Not being able to turn this off is very, very, VERY frustrating.

you need to allow the deactivation of automtic emojis. I'm using O365 professionaly and those simleys are NOT prefesionnal!!
i cannot send gifs and emojis
Stop emoji in business emails. No idea who let this go through, totally unprofessional. Please make it easy to turn off.

The auto emojis in outlook 365 (web) are the worst! I can't type a normal email without the emojis popping up and then my whole sentence gets deleted. I can't figure out how to disable it!
I agree completely, the emoji/gif/phrase thing is SUPERBLY annoying.
I can't see any emojies in the emails, including the ones I send. It is just a little empty box.
You want me to insert animated gifs into my business emails? Sorry, this isn't Twitter or Facebook - we are trying to work here. Get rid of this garbage.
Allow me to chose what is relevant or if I wish to add as applicable. Otherwise it appears very unprofessional.
I typed a :) in my email and with every next word I typed, Outlook kept insisting on an emoji. Then it suddenly replaced/deleted my entire text with a winking emoji and I couldn't get the text back. I had to rewrite a long email. Kind of frustrating. Switching back to old outlook - it had flaws but it never deleted my emails and replaced them with emojis.
Emojies do not work properly and also hate the view of having the emails and details split top and bottom.
STOP the attempts at forcing emojis, this is a work email, not appropriate.
