+1 from me. Incredibly annoying issue!

In the old Outlook on the web, clicking URL links in the calendar opened calendar item. In the new Outlook on the web, clicking the same URL links opens the calendar itself.
Now Thunderbird users needs to take one extra click to send reply to meeting request so please fix this issue. -

This is incredibly infuriating -- my company posts links a lot as the location for a meeting, usually a bluejeans link for a video meeting. I can't click on the link, I have to copy and paste it. Even worse, if I do click on it, all it does is show me the link again but ellipsized so I can't even copy paste it.
PLEASE make this work right, it's driving me crazy.
Again, to repro: Use a link as the location of a meeting. Try clicking it.
Thank you so much!

Need to be able to join video conferences/meetings

Yes! We use a lot of remote conferences and putting the link in the location field is standard protocol so that attendees don't need to open the full meeting to click the link but the link in location seems not to be clickable.
Worse in some cases when I attempt to copy and paste it, before I can get it selected and copied, the meeting tooltip summary appears over the link and makes it nearly impossible to access the meeting at all.

Thanks for posting this -- it is a bit frustrating, especially links to online meetings that I don't want to be late too.

Links that have been pasted into a calendar event no longer work. This is especially frustrating for anybody who meets virtually.
