Can't Edit Email Contact
I went to people and tried to update a person's email address but I couldn't find the edit button. This should have been easy but looks like it is not worth the time to figure out.

Good lord this is annoying. Experiencing all of the above. I can't wait for antitrust enforcement to kick in and dismantle software giants that can deliver suboptimal products on the basis that we're locked into their entire ecosystem.

Edited contact names are not propagated. I edited and saved a contact name, deleted the incorrect name in a contact list, BUT when I try to add the corrected contact name, Outlook displays only the incorrect spelling. I then deleted the contact completely and added the correct name. I still get the same results with the only option being the incorrectly spelled - and deleted! - name.

I cannot edit my group contacts, even though I am the administrator.

When I try to type an email address in the to field, Outlook automatically enters an address and overrides what I typed. When I try to edit the input address, it ignores my changes.

Self-explanatory - make the "new" Outlook less Fisher-Price, and more instantly intuitive!

On top of that, I've found that Outlook has taken to mistyping suggested e-mail addresses (e.g., .orgon ) , then won't let me type in the correct address or remove the bad one from its suggestions. I finally solved this by creating a contact but what a pain.

I have to open Outlook, go to Settings, Options, Account, and Edit Information. It didn't work for me, but I figured out it was because I had "The new Outlook" turned on. As soon as I turn off "The new Outlook in the top right of the screen, I was able to follow those steps to successfully change the desired contact and phone information. I also figured out that if you don't want to switch back to the old version to change the setting, you can also use this link to go directly there.
