I do not like the how the email highlights words and I cannot take the highlight off. Especially the word thank you.

It is almost impossible to modify individual words in the email text for special effects such as boldface, underlining, italics and highlighting. When I click on the word, "Select All" comes up - after about 3 minutes of multiple attempts to isolate the single word or phrase that I want to modify, I can sometimes achieve such modification.

I was trying to send a thank you email to a state representative who did a kindness for a group of my college students without saying the words Thank you because I didn't want to look like I am 15. It is so unprofessional.

Saying thank you in a business email should not result in a photo of a gift or something else inappropriate showing up. Perhaps Microsoft could realize that there are numerous businesses and universities using outlook and should develop a version that is business friendly and not just teenager oriented.

I agree! It is annoying. This is a business email, I will not be adding GIFs in place of the word thank you.

Keyboard highlighting does not work beyond a word, and mouse needs to be involved.
