I would like to be able to disable Expressions. I turned off the beta solely because I can't disable the expressions. Let me know when you have the feature added and I'll re-join the beta. Thanks.

The setting for this feature is under Mail > Compose and reply > Quick suggestions.

The automatic blue text for "thank you" is awful. Please change.

When I send an apology to a colleague, I don't need the word apologize highlighted in blue as if I've written a contraction or misspelled it. I don't need an expressions panel. I'm not going to send an animated .gif to my boss or a client. I'm a professional, not a high school dropout incapable of expressing my feelings without moving cartoons repeating the one word that I just typed.

NOT COMPLETED. Please make it a setting to disable/enable the expressions feature. This is ridiculous that you don't have. Developers can't provide a quick checkbox? Listen to your customers please. Just makes you look bad.

Nice look. But the unrelenting thanks pop up each time I wrote "thanks" (or worse, misspelled it) was obnoxious. Let me turn it off! Please.

Agree 100%. Who thought it would be a good idea to embed gifs and emojis by default in a workplace platform? I don't want to send cat gifs to my supervisor. This is highly inappropriate, even more so since it is the default option.

Glitches regarding draft saves are constant and I keep losing work. The expressions link automatically popping up is very annoying as well.

It is quite annoying that the new Outlook highlights some words to show references to it and/or show emojis for them. Absurd!

It is absurd that Outlook is set to auto-replace text with emojis. I would never use emojis in a business context and, for that matter, I ONLY use Outlook for business, so why would I ever want that feature? Disable it!

Every time I wrote the word "thank you" in my email it inserted a link to gifs. I went into setting to uncheck it but this did not stop the gifs from being inserted. This is totally inappropriate for the work environment I am in. I cannot use the new Outlook if this new feature cannot be turned off. Very disappointed in this product.

Yeah you can mark this as completed all you want but I have turned off "joyful animations" & "offer suggestions based on keywords" and I still get a box trying to get me to choose a smiley face every time I type a colon or semicolon. And if I don't catch it it opens up a separate window with emojis and gifs in it. I'm about to switch back to the old outlook too unless there's an actual way to disable this "feature"

I hate the "Expressions" box that pops up.
I am drafting professional emails, and am terrified I will accidentally send a ridiculous wingding in my message.
Please create an easy way to disable Expressions, and do not make activated Expressions the default setting. Thank you.

Yuck - Clunky and to intrusive - I don't use emojis and I don't want to type words and have them appear in a different color. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

EXPRESSIONS are not appropriate for business communications. I am an accountant, not a high-schooler. No need to look 'cute' when I say 'Thank you'.

I DONT LIKE THE EXPRESSIONS THAT KEEP POPPING UP EVERY TIME I TYPE!

Get rid of them or at least have an option to turn them off. Very unprofessional looking.

I'm tired of fighting with your garbage links to add flare to your e mail. This is a business application and I don't need to send everyone confetti every time I want to say well done.
