I would like to be able to disable Expressions. I turned off the beta solely because I can't disable the expressions. Let me know when you have the feature added and I'll re-join the beta. Thanks.

The setting for this feature is under Mail > Compose and reply > Quick suggestions.

I agree. This is ridiculous. It is very irritating to have highlighted purple text while I'm trying to write a serious email.

I assume that, like my institution, Outlook is the email server of choice for professional organizations. As such, it would be a welcome change to not be inundated with the frivolity that social media has injected into the processes of communication. Please make it optional to turn on/off the "smart suggestions" (emojis, GIFs, etc), just as it is optional to turn on/off "quick responses" (which are typically asinine, devoid of any real context, and a huge invasion of privacy in the first place).

Disable automatic emoji/phrase suggestions. It's NOT FACEBOOK, I use it for work. It's very annoying.

Give us an option to turn off all those graphics in emails that are part of the "new" look.... PLEASE!!!
Per line is so much bigger (ug) and it is slower! I want to see more lines on the screen without needing to adjust the browser to zoom out.. and all those live links in the email - I create too many of these and I don't want/need to see the website preview for each of the links I'm sending via Outlook...

I hate the expressions. Go away and quit slowing down my work. This a professional tool.

The emojis for words is difficult. Please remove them. I'm trying to run a business not a text group.

GIVE ME A BREAK!! The emoji suggestions drove me MAD. I would just stick with G-Mail if I could. You REALLY need pop-up notes on how to disable the new "features" (really ANNOYANCES) when you add them. How hard is it to ***** up Email? Congratulations, you've done it.

EXPRESSIONS! I would like to share some EXPRESSIONS with OL! This is the most annoying thing I've ever encountered. Trying to reply to a feedback email where an employee was congratulated and every time I type GREAT JOB, it wants met to pop in a GIF. There is no way to turn this off. JOYFUL ANIMATIONS does not manage this. OL - turn it off, please!

Need to be able to DEACTIVATE the emoji auto populate in the body of a professional email

The auto population of "Thanks" that can not be edited and does not actually show on the sent email is frustrating. I could not find how to turn it off

This is part of a more general problem which hasn't floated to the top yet.
Stop auto-doing ANYTHING in the email without allowing me to turn it off. Expressions, numbering, bullets -- makes it very difficult for me to compose the email I want to send, because outlook thinks B) should be a smiley face or that a line beginning with "-" should have a bullet instead. I typed it that way for a reason!!!

Beyond annoyed with the inability to turn off "expressions." Seems to cater to social, not professional correspondents. Burdensome and disruptive. Please fix!

I would absolutely never use Outlook (Office 365) if I didn't have to for work. Let's start off with the annoying light blue highlighting of common words. Why are these things in the default settings? Second, when I went to move an item from my inbox into a folder and clicked "Move" when the folder I wanted wasn't showing I had to click "All Folders" I was then taken to a list that started off with a bunch of folders that I had deleted over 5 years ago that no longer show on the side panel. Eventually when I scrolled down it had all of the current folders I actually use. This is my annoyance in just the first 5 minutes of using this system. Another annoyance about 365 is that some names just refuse to show as (Last, First) or the name at all and will only show the e-mail address. I gave up on fixing that years ago after even the people in the I.T. department said they couldn't figure out this glitch.
