Where is Skype???
The new integrated Skype for Business experience is now available on the new Outlook on the Web for all customers worldwide.
If you have a Skype for Business account (and have not yet been migrated to Teams), you should see a Skype logo in the right half of the top header upon signing in.
If you have already been fully migrated to Teams, then instead of a Skype logo, you should see a button (it looks like chat bubbles) that opens Microsoft Teams in a new browser tab.
You may need to clear your browser cache and/or refresh your Outlook Web session to see the newly rolled out changes.
Still no Skype. This is illogical, the old outlook have it but the new one doesn't.
Neither the skype logo nor the chat bubbles show up on the mail or calendar tabs. I cleared my history/cache, and see only the status dropdown. The skype logo shows only on the tasks tab. I'm happy to send a screenshot if needed.

I still see no Skype for Business in the new Outlook web interface even though I can still see it if I switch back to the old interface. I don't see Teams either. If I look at my app list, I don't see Skype for Business, but I do see Teams. But few people in my organization use Teams. Still, if I can use Skype from Business from the old interface, I must have a Skype for Business account, and that's what I want to use for now.
Skype is working if a person with with the old version Skype to me ... but in the new version there is no Skype logo to initiate a tchat

Not working. I cleared cache, cleared cookies, cleared browser history, restarted, rebooted and all the things. Skype logo still shows in Outlook Web Classic, but doesn't appear anywhere on the screen in new Outlook Web. (nor does the Teams bubbles either)

can someone post a screenshot of how it looks in the new outlook web interface? I still do not see the chat bubble or the skype logo in the new interface (cleared the cache).

The Skype/Teams icon is not there for me.
Still no Skype for me, cleared cookies, tried incognito mode, no luck here in California.
Still no skype in the "new" Outlook 365 - even after an email to say there now is. :(

Got the notice that Skype/Teams is now available in the new Web Outlook, but upon signing in, I can't see it - the icon is missing completely, just as before.
When I switch back to the old interface, the Skype for Business icon pops up at the top-right as it always has.
Is there anything that needs to be done to enable it in the new Web Outlook?
Using Google Chrome on Linux. Also have several Windows users hanging out for this because the installed Outlook client is noticeably slower than the Web version, especially in searches, so they really want to cut over.
still no skype
This is vital because of lacking skype for business version for linux
As a default you should be able to set a standard communication tool when setting up a meeting in your calendar. Now you need to select which tool you want to use, but I want it to have it selected TEAMS by default.

Looks like skype gets inactive in few minutes or a constant channel is not established when communicating with in a organization. Does this work with people who use Lync ?
I found Skype on the Tasks tab, but its not available on mail, people or calendar.

skype for business is not available under this version but in the old version it is
Still no Skype option for me. How do you get on the targeted release list?

Skype is not available in new outlook window.
How do I toggle the Skype IM option to always open chat bubble in current window?
I'm on targeted release, and still do not have Skype? I'm the admin for our 365 tenant. This is starting to roll out in TWO WEEKS, with no option to toggle it off. We need this asap!
The new version does not include Skype...
