Shift-delete to delete permanently without 'deleted items'
Hello from the Outlook team! We’re hoping you all can help us out in identifying this problem. Please share the detailed steps taken in order for this to not work (Folder origin? Keyboard?).
Yes! What happened to shift-delete? I hate having to clear out my "deleted mail" -- most SPAM and such I want to have a single keystroke to remove permanently.
This feature does not work anymore (email is in "deleted" folder). This is a regression, please restore.
In the old version I could hold the shift key when I clicked the delete button on the menu and permanently delete an email. If an email is obviously spam I don't want it in my deleted items where I might click on it again later. Especially as the images sometimes load (giving away your valid email address) when you view an email in the deleted folder (whereas in the inbox it would have blocked the images and you'd have to click a button to show them).
I want to delete unwanted mail messages right away. Now I may only delete them, go to my deleted items and delete them again. Quite annoying.
