Bug using "unread emails" filter
When you filter using the "unread emails" filter and you read those emails, the email status dont change to read

Thank you for your feedback! Opinion on this behavior in the unread filter is mixed, so we’ll be adding a setting where you can choose to automatically mark emails as read in this filter when reading normally.

Feature request: make "unread" flag a toggle that stays on when moving from one screen to another. Or when moving from Focused to the Other tabs.

Please add the ability to search for email conversations with one or more unread emails only

I want Outlook to recognize that I've read my "Unread" messages when I've filtered on it. This way my unread # goes down.

I have a lot of "unread" email -- my inbox serves as a to-do list of sorts. When items are done, I mark them read.
I'd like to search for a particular unread email I'm looking for.
I can see two possible ways to do this:1) use the search bar, then filter my results to only include unread emails. This doesn't seem to be possible because the filter only allows me to filter by date, address, etc.
2) filter my inbox so it only displays unread emails, then type my query in the search bar. This doesn't work either --- when i type in a search, it removes the filters I put on my inbox.
This seems like a relatively simple feature; am I missing something or is there really no way to search through unread emails? I tried to see if I can do the same thing with flagging/unflagging emails but that doesn't work either! No way to search through flagged messages...

Mark "read" after selecting while using filter not working. Specifically was using "Unread" filter and when messages were selected and displayed in reading pane or double-clicked to open in window, this was not triggering the listed message to be marked "read".

make it easier to just sort by unread, or have an unread only folder so I can keep on task

When reading an email selected while using the "unread email filter", I try to forward it. The compose window is minimized at the bottom and when expanded the original message I am trying to forward has been stripped. Looks like I am composing a new email.
