The text colour randomly changes when writing an email. It starts as black then changes to red for a paragraph, then green, then blue, then back to black. There is no default text option.
This happens when writing replies and when writing a new email.
It makes my emails look very unprofessional and it is an inconvenience to highlight text and change to black when trying to send a quick email.
I've changed back to the old system purely because I am spending too much time changing the colour back to black. I think it makes sense if you are replying and want to be a different colour - but not every line is a different colour.
Leave the font colour alone in my email messages and let the user decide. Why would anyone think it a good idea to auto-format somebody else's message to red text? Microsoft, please stop trying to help me when I don't ask for it. If I want red text, or capital letters, or an extra line after a paragraph, I am more than capable of doing it myself. I spend more time undoing unwanted auto-formatting in all Office products than necessary (understatement). Yes I know I can disable it, but I have to do this individually for each program, each app and across every PC I use and typically after every update. It wastes my time repeatedly. Thank you.
Yes this is awful! Renders this useless for me. Am going back to the old version
