Can't drag emails into folder pane
I can't drag emails into the left hand folder pane, like was possible with the old interface. Would be such a time saver if this works in the new interface as well. Using Edge 42.17134.1.0

First off, thank you all very much for providing feedback. I just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know that we have pushed out some fixes to ensure that you are able to drag and drop email’s to different folders.
This includes if the folder is collapsed. Once you hover over the the folder list it will expand if there are multiple sub folders.
Hope this helps!
Thanks

If you use your right mouse button to drag, and then drag te right email to the preferred folder, you get a small pop-up which asks if you want to move or copy to that folder, you can also move or copy multiple emails this way.

Current Folder.. lf you look at the top of your search, i betting that it's set to Current Mailbox.. IF you change that to Current Folder, you will then be able to drag email to folders like you used to.

Overhere also does not work. I can only drag one e-mail at a time. I used to be able to drag 100 e-mails at a time, but now this does not work anmore. I'm using chrome. Also tried it with Edge and IE. Same story.

Twirl folders open to see subfolders when hovering.
To move a message to a folder not in favourites (which I leave open), I'd like to be able to drag a message on top my remaining folders, and have that section twirl open in order to drop my message into one of the remaining folders. This is the behaviour in the old outlook. In the new outlook, I have to twirl open the section before selecting a message, and then twirl the section closed after moving the message.

It would be nice to drag and drop emails into folders after reading them. I hate having to right to move to folder.

Dragging an email to a folder has two issues for me:
First it expands the folder too fast so in many cases it expands to wrong folder that is above the one I want.
And secondly the scroll on the left pane menu is too fast.Could you please look at the timings and speeds on the old version and set them to be the same?

Can't send messages. Can't save to drafts. Can't drag and drop messages to folders. No search capability. Can't start a new message. If mail responds briefly, it locks up again. I switch from new Outlook to the older version and all this functionality comes back.
What is happening?!?!?

When dragging an email from inbox to another folder the old outlook displayed a box with the message "1 item", "two items", etc. The new outlook does not have this. Bring it back.

I can drag emails into folders, but I can't move from "Focused" inbox to "Other." It was hit-or-miss in the old Outlook web app, and it doesn't work at all in the new version.

Pls don't take functionality away for a "new look". Attachments are integral in business emails. The "new look" has lost the ability to drag-drop attachments or emails into new email or calendar draft tabs/windows. Hope this gets fixed asap; switching back to "old look" that works better for the time being. (Chrome user).

Dropping a dragged folder makes it a sub folder. I just want to change its position in the list, not make it a subfolder. It's not clear how to change the order of the folders.
