the filters on the search results should be visible all the time for easy manipulate them,
the search resultslist and inbox list are looks very similar and misslead, should be some Huge Sign on the screen that tell to the user you are not in inbox view, the list is static.
The old version displays displays all "from" addresses in a sidebar. It is very helpfull
