Open another / new mailbox
need to be able to open another mailbox from the new OWA like you can in the old OWA
Thanks for all of the feedback on this item. I just wanted to let you know that Open Mailbox has been returned to the new Outlook on the Web Experience.
Give it a try!

For some reason when I log into my faculty mail at one school, the link that pops up leads to the email at another school where I also teach.
Ever since MS changed Outlook to its new look I can't open my shared email box. I have to use to different browsers to do so. Every now and then I can open the shared email box (within my own email box) however ALL OF OUR FAVORITES are gone and you can't add any favorites as the favorite button does not exist. This really is frustrating. Need the favorites back!!!
We use office 365 as our organizational platform. It generally works very well. This new version of outlook online does not work well with organizational inboxes. After switching over to "Try new Outlook" we were unable to "Open another mailbox" or add a shared inbox to the navigation menu. These features are essential to our business process.

On old version when you clicked Open Another Mailbox, you could just start typing, now it opens the window for you to open another mailbox, but if you type, it acts like you are writing a new email subject....underneath the window you just opened. You have to CLICK the window you just opened to type in a new mailbox.
When opening up a different mailbox, it doesn't come up. Have to revert back to old style
When I 'open another mailbox…', a pop-up asks me to enter the mailbox I want to open and gives suggestions as I type. Those suggestions are pulled from the org directory a.k.a. global address list (GAL) as well as from my contacts, so many don't make sense. Please improve those suggestions or let me switch to a list of 'recently opened mailboxes'.
At least the wording should be improved: currently the pop-up says 'suggested contacts'. Please use 'suggested mailboxes'.

Open another mailbox on Dark UI: the form field is not visible.
Would be great if we didn't have to do that anymore

I am an adjunct at Farmingdale and also at Suffolk County Community College. Both use the new Outlook. My Suffolk email comes up, but not my Farmingdale email.
The box field is invisible in IE.
Can you please check this out, because users are thinking that there is no option to enter the email address because the box filed is missing.
This is happening only with IE.

The Open another mailbox function displays a pop-up box in to enter the email address for the mailbox. In IE 11.2125.14393.0, this text box does not display with a border (blends into white background).
If I remove the class on the textbox (class="ms-BasePicker-input pickerInput_ecad0f63") in DOM Explorer, the text box does display.
This appears to be a compatibility issue as the issue is not present in Chrome or Edge.
still not working
I need quick access to two other email accounts that I monitor. I only see my primary account, and it isn't clear how I access the other two.
It does not work correctly / at all if you have tow account.
Open another mailbox - Please add a border to the field where you begin typing in the "other" mailbox you want to open. It appears that there's nothing in the modal/pop-up--I accidentally click into the white space & my cursor appeared.

Under old Outlook you right click on your name and then "add shared folder" wasn't able to do this w/ new Outlook
We can't add another mail box if it is on the new format

Still does not work. Or do we now open the new mailbox a different way that was not mentioned in your "Give it a try!" message?
