  1. Obtain the My contacts by PowerShell

It would be great if we could obtain contacts in the personal address book by PowerShell.

  3. Security | OWA | Allow to Disable export contact via Set-OwaMailboxPolicy

    Hello,
Using OWA can export all contacts from a user and use those contacts to send a phishing mail, this can be done in less than 1 minute if the account was compromised.
Please allow disabling exporting contacts tenant wide, per group, per user.
Right now if you go to https://outlook.office.com/people, there is a Manage button where can export all contacts. It would be great to disable this.

  6. In To:/Cc: contacts selection, use the contacts sort order already used in People

My Outlook-on-the-web contacts are displayed in People with surname first and in surname order. This is my preference, and for business users at least this must be the most common usage.

But when I create a new message and select (e.g.) To:, the addresses to select from are displayed with surname first but are in first name order. There is no obvious way to change this and the resulting display is obviously a pointless mess.
Why not either add a 'sort order' option to the To:/Cc: contacts selection or at least use the 'xx first' AND 'xx order' options set…

  8. Adding contacts from Directory

In OWA> People, when I'm looking through the Directory> All Users list and then I add one of those Users to My Contacts, I'm bumped out of All Users and into My Contacts. I want to stay in All Users, so I can continue to add all the Users I need to My Contacts.

  9. Customized contact fields in Outlook don't show in OWA

Created a new template, using Outlook “Developer” Tool. Changed some fields names, for example "Job Title:" and "Company:".
Created a new contact in Outlook, when using this form. The customized fields are displayed correctly in Outlook, but they are not displayed correctly in OWA.
It would be good if these fields from Outlook are synchronized with OWA as well.

  10. LinkedIn integration broken

The LinkedIn integration is broken even though its enabled in settings. I've tried repairing, completely reinstalling, creating a new profile. Deleting database OSK file and reimporting but it remains. LinedIn contact linking ONLY works on outlook.com not in the desktop client. It used to work a couple of months ago but is now gone.

    Please fix this!
    Best regards

  11. Disable Linked Contacts

OWA is linking contacts together. When I pull up a contact and call their mobile number, I'm calling the wrong people because contact info from multiple people is mashed together into one contact. How is this a good idea? I need an easy way to de-link EVERYBODY who's linked and have this feature permanently disabled. I can't believe there's no option to turn this off.

  12. Email signature not automatically included when emailing Contacts from People

When I click "Send email" under one of my contacts in "People" a window pops up to send them an email, but the automatic email signature does not show up. I have to manually insert it every time. Also when I click new message my email signature automatically is included, but I am unable to search for my contacts in the To: box and therefore have to go to the people section to get the email address. Please fix both of these issues. Thank you.

  13. Allow only specific users to edit contact which can be added in the shared mailbox

I would like to allow only specific users to modify Contacts in the shared mailbox. Because, currently any user who has full access to the shared mailbox can add or edit contacts in the mailbox, but I want only verified user to do that.

  15. Don’t want user to be added in a Contact list automatically

When you search user in Contact, users get added to the list automatically if their name has been resolved by the system. Additionally, those users are listed at the bottom of the contact list and it’s not easy to find if they are actually added or not. To workaround this, I would like to suggest you stop automatically adding users unless clicking the Add button.

  16. Entire organization of Contacts is unintelligible

I've never seen an understandable explanation of the difference between People and Contacts, or all the different items in that heirarchy, or why it has to work so differently from the desktop software.

Under "Contacts" there's something called "Your Contacts" which appears to be a very random subset of my nearly 4,000 contacts. I can't figure out anything they have in common. Most of them are NOT ones I use frequently, How are contacts selected to be in that group? Why is such a group supposed to be useful to anyone?

Why do I have to go farther down the…

  17. This will make viewing quicker and help to prevent accidental changes

Make it possible to just double-click on a contact and VIEW the complete record without editing it.

  19. The new Outlook on the web scheduling feature does not reflect address book policies.

The new Outlook on the web scheduling feature does not reflect address book policies.
    Therefore, we request improvement.

For example, even though the conference room mailbox is hidden in the Address book policy, it is displayed in the conference room list distribution group.
This is not the case with the Outlook client or Microsoft Teams.

  20. How to sort the default address list

Custom address lists can be sorted in numerical order by specifying a number at the beginning of the display name.
However, in the case of the address list that exists by default, the order is retained even if the display name is changed.

In Outlook, you can sort even the default address list. We want you to be able to rearrange in ExchagneOnline as well.
