New Outlook (office 365) - cannot easily see where to add a new shared calendar. Did a fish design the new web interface, it is terrible!208 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’ve rolled out the new Add Calendar experience, which should help you in adding shared calendars. See the “Add Calendar” button on the left column of the calendar.
There used to be an option to open others' calendars and I cannot find it now. In the old OWA it's: right click on Other calendars/Open calendar/From directory421 votes
Thank you for your feedback! The deployment for opening calendars from the directory in the new Outlook on the web is now complete. If you refresh, you should be able to see the experience.

Thank you for the feedback, and for trying Outlook on the Web.
I just wanted to let you know that there are two options to turn off those two features you mentioned.
1) Click on the Gear in the top right
2) Toggle off both the Sender Photos and Attachment previews.
This should turn off both of those features you mentioned.
Hope this helps
I can't drag emails into the left hand folder pane, like was possible with the old interface. Would be such a time saver if this works in the new interface as well. Using Edge 42.17134.1.0339 votes
First off, thank you all very much for providing feedback. I just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know that we have pushed out some fixes to ensure that you are able to drag and drop email’s to different folders.
This includes if the folder is collapsed. Once you hover over the the folder list it will expand if there are multiple sub folders.
Hope this helps!
We believe this issue has to do with running an older version of Firefox. Please update your browser and let us know if you still experience the issue!
The new format is nice but it is missing a key part of the old calendar. The new format needs to include the right side bar that shows the entire list of events for the selected day. This is helpful when there are several events for the day. Without the right side bar it is difficult to see the entire day's events when on month or week view. Please bring this side bar back. It looks like several people want it back.218 votes
Thank you for your feedback! The deployment for the ability to see your day’s events in month view is now complete.
open a new email message in a new window.174 votes
Thank you all very much for taking time to try out the new Outlook on the web experience, as well as providing feedback.
I wanted to let everyone know that if you want to open a new email compose in a new window you can be doing the following.
1) Click the New Email button
2) In the right of the compose window there is an icon that you can click which will open in a new window.
Hope this helps!
Hi all – First off, thank you for the feedback. Reading through the different comments it seems like there are two main themes that we are seeing.
1) People aren’t liking the extra circles / icons. Some folks feel this makes it less professional.
2) Extra spacing being taken by showing attachments previews.
I wanted to let everyone know that both of those features can actually be disabled.
Click on the Gear in the top right. This will open the quick settings pane. From look for sender photos and attachments previews.
Once you have those turned off, let us know if this helps your experience. It should look much more like the older experience.
There are a few issues with the Calendar. As part of daily activities, I print out my daily calendar to keep track of my day.
The calendar print out font is too small to read.
Dark mode prints out with a black background which is not ideal for readability or use.
There is no room for notes.167 votes
Hello and thank you for your feedback on this. We have made some adjustments to provide larger fonts. Please take another look and let us know what you think!
Hi all! Again thanks for the feedback on this!
I just wanted to let everyone know that this has been fixed and the change is in the process of being fully rolled out. A good portion of you should be able to see the ability to open up a mail from a shared mailbox in a new window working now. The fix should be fully deployed to everyone by Monday morning.
Seriously, show the search bar in all folders.215 votes
Hey, the search bar is available no matter what folder you are in! It’s in the header, in the middle of the screen. Just search as you normally would, and your search will be automatically scoped to the folder you’re currently in. You can also change the scope of the search by clicking on the Filters button on right right side of the search bar.
I would love to be able to use dark mode but still have a theme on the top64 votes
Thanks for your support. Themes, not just the default blue one, are now supported in Dark Mode.
Need to add a calendar from the directory. Have to switch to classic view to add calendar from the directory.165 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’ve rolled out the new Add Calendar experience, which should help you in adding calendars from a certain directory. See the “Add Calendar” button on the left column of the calendar.
When viewing multiple calendars they are just laid on top of each other, yes they are a different color, but i have no idea who's calendar is who's. Also, to turn off one of those calendar, I have to search thru my 50 saved calendars to find the one that is enabled. You used to have a tab at the top that showed the user name and you could easily dismiss their calendar from that little tab.320 votes
Thank you for your feedback! If you’d like to view multiple calendars side-by-side, please go to the view switcher dialog (the button at the top labeled “Day, Work week, Week, or Month”, depending on which view you are currently in) and select “Split view” (please note that this option is not available in Month view).
With Split view, you can view as many calendars as you’d like side-by-side, and once you’re done viewing a particular calendar, click on the X at the top of the calendar to de-select it from your view. Once you’re completely done with a calendar and you’d like to remove it from your calendar list, you can go to the “…” menu next to the calendar and click Delete or Remove.

Hey, thanks for your feedback! We’ve created settings to help you fix this issue.
First, open Quick Settings by clicking on the settings gear in the header. Then, you can change the display density (set yours to Compact) which will remove the colors and add more text.
I don't like the coloured circles and the different bold fonts.116 votes
Thanks for your feedback! You can configure this in settings.
Open the settings gear (in the header) to launch the settings pane. Then click “view all Outlook settings”.
Then go to Mail > Layout > Sender image, and choose “Don’t show sender images”
Hope this helps!
Why did all my calendar colors change - it looks hideous! Switching back to the old Outlook.258 votes
Thank you for your feedback! We have now released an option to switch to more saturated calendar colors in the new Outlook on the web.
If you would like to try out this experience, please click on the gear icon in the top right of your calendar module to access your settings, and toggle “Bold event colors”.
