  1. Reducing Spam/Junk emails

    Allow Outlook users to block sender's name that uses the same name in multiple Spam emails that contain different numbers in the sender's information. Legitimate senders will have one sender address that Outlook will recognize if user marks it Not Spam/Junk.

  2. my junk folder is gone, so is my Focused and Others? Help!!!

    Where are these folders? Did Microsoft change something the week of April 9th 2018??

    We’re sorry people are experiencing issues here. We have gone back to the old behavior for the left-hand folder tree to always show since last year and we hope this has addressed most issues.

    There are some reports in the comments about individual folders not showing up. In order for us to get to the bottom of the issue, please post as much detail as possible in your comments. What steps are you taking? Which browser/computer/operating system are you using?

    block servers just as @heavy-city.appspot.com that create hundreds of spam and phishing messages with random and various account names/handles.

  4. Too much junk from newsletter@***.us

    Filter out emails from newsletter@*.us - there has been in influx of spam coming from this format of email address. All go to junk mail, but I'd like to see them go straight to Trash. Cannot use * currently in Rules.

  5. Junk e-mail: block e-mail addresses using wildcards (eg *@*.can

    Junk e-mail: why can't you allow the user to block e-mails using a wildcard and only part of the e-mail address? I receive, EVERY DAY, emails from pharmacy<something>.can and I want to block *@*.can instead of wasting my time to block every single instance, every single day

    A lot of spam is coming into my inbox in spite of having set my filter to "Only trust email from addresses in my Safe senders and domains list and Safe mailing lists

    All good emails have started going to spam. This is happening way more frequently now from last 1 month or so. Never had this issue before

  8. Incorrect translation in french.

    There's a wrong translation for french in the spam folder. I guess english label to empty this folder is "Empty folder", which has been translated to "Dossier vide" (means "Folder IS empty").
    Correct translation is : "Vider le dossier"

  9. junkmail filtering

    Junkmail filtering on outlook is ineffective to say the least.

    Junkmail works in a few ways.
    - Robots scan the internet for email addresses.
    - Business collect your email for legitimate reasons (like receipts or alerts) but then continue to send unsolicited mail
    - by a robot flooding random emails with a readably sounding senders name, a randomised or misleading email address, misleading body content (usually duplicated from an existing reputable website, and requiring the user to interact by clicking a hyperlink or download an executable.

  12. rules that work on spam folder

    I am making tonnes of rules to try to cut down on the amount of spam I am getting. I have dozens of rules, saying for certain words to be deleted, but they are still ending up in my Junk Email. The same words being used over and over in the rules, but they are still going through. So your rules are not working what so ever.
    I was told that the rules do NOT apply to emails that are you already direct to the spam folder, that your "spam" rules bypass any rules we make ourselves. That's rather annoying.…

  13. junk folder requires me to click on each mail item after deleting

    Why does the junk folder require me to click on each mail item after deleting one? In the non-beta version, I used to be able to delete a junk email and the focus would automatically change to the next email in the junk folder. Now, it annoyingly requires me to click on the next email ("Select an item to read") after deleting. Please fix this!

  14. Blocking Junk Mails

    You have provided a feature to block junk mails by adding the domain or email address, but you are not blocking any emails which are coming in as abc@def.ghi.xyz when I have added ghi.xyz in the block list. I get tons of junk mails right into my inbox (Focused) with email addresses like cba@fed.ghi.xyz and every time I get these mail, I have to add them (fed.ghi.xyz) to my junk list, which doesn’t make sense when I have added ghi.xyz to the block list. My suggestion is if I add a domain ghi.xyz to the block list then all emails…

  17. Improve performance and filtering

    Improve your junk message filtering. My important message is going into the junk folder. Also plz improve the performance as well. It has become very slow now. Opening an email takes a lot of time even though I am using wifi which has very good internet speed.

  18. Obvious spam being sent to Inbox

    Why is obvious spam not going to Junk or being blocked. 42 emails with the same "From" and "Subject" that arrived within 120 secs to my Inbox. These should have been filtered out and deleted or at the very least sent to Junk. Why weren't they?

    The mails disappear when moving from Junk Email to Focused Inbox. Those mails are important and not Junk! Please recover them!

    leute, das kann doch nicht sein, dass ihr nicht eine einzige Phishing mail geblockt kriegt. selbst nach zig mal melden tut sich nichts.
