As of yesterday, the Contact Picker dialog has been returned to an alphabetical A-Z sort order. As many comments show, lots of Outlook.com users are already seeing the fixed behavior. If you do not observe this in your Outlook Web session, you will need to refresh your browser (or maybe even clear your cache).
Again, the sort order not being alphabetical A-Z was always a bug and was never by design.
You may be interested to know the next item on our plan for the Contact Picker: Soon, there will be a way to type letters and by so doing filter the list down to matching entries. This means you shouldn’t need to scroll over and over, in the future.

Thanks for your feedback! In order to log out, click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the window. This is a round icon with either your profile image or your initials.
When you click this icon, a pane will expand. “Sign out” is one of the options on this pane.

You have mistranslated the word "phishing", you have translated it as "pesca" which is the Spanish word for "fishing". Either you put back phishing or you put identity theft, because "pesca" is ridiculous.28 votes

We wanted to let you know that as of today we have enabled spelling and grammar checking provided by Microsoft Editor for Chrome and Edge browsers (Firefox & Safari support to come soon). To access these suggestions, simply left click on the underlined text.
As you type, you will get underlines in red or blue denoting spelling and grammar suggestions, respectively. For users with a premium or M365 account, you will also have access to writing refinement suggestions such as clarity, conciseness, and formality denoted by purpled underlines.
To customize which types of suggestions show up, select the “Editor” button in the compose ribbon and select or deselect suggestion types. Or alternatively in settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Microsoft Editor.

First off, thank you all for using outlook.com and for providing such great feedback. I wanted to address the feedback that you have left about not being able to do some of the advanced search that you had in the older outlook.com experience.
We actually do have advanced search. When you click in the Search box at the top of the screen, it will expand and there is a “filter” icon. If you click that icon you should be able to do date search, attachments, etc.

We have confirmed that all users whose email addresses have an Office 365 subscription attached to it are getting the ad-free Outlook.com experience. We encourage anyone who would like the ad-free Outlook.com experience to sign up for an Office 365 subscription, which comes with a plethora of additional perks and benefits.
In addition to this, users who would like to have a larger reading surface may find the Reading Pane Off/Hidden mode more preferable. This setting may be found in the Quick Settings panel, under Reading Pane > Hide.

I can see the inactive picture icon in the signature, but currently cannot upload any pictures to appear at the bottom of my emails in my signature! Please can you activate it asap!!!!45 votes

Please, don't add advertising on our page of outlook or, if it's not possible, put them on the right side of the emails and very thin, so that way we will be able to see a lot of the emails that we have received and not only one or two as now.52 votes

The outlook.com dark mode is great start. Please make the Outlook.com Dark Mode even darker! Remove the blue title bar and all blue from the Dark Mode (at least give us the option). Blue light is bad for the eyes!
It appears the black theme is disabled for dark mode. We need a total blackout mode.126 votes

Hello all – I just wanted to provide a quick update. We were able to get a patch pushed out which disabled the spalsh screen that some of you were seeing on each login.
You should not be seeing the issue any more. However, I do want to let you know that it is highly likely that you will see it one more time in the coming days. As the fix to the bug roles out it will trigger the screen just one more time.
