[Dislike]:KEEP PHONE CALL VERIFICATION OPTION FOR MICROSOFT ACCOUNTS
I regard to: "Say goodbye to phone call verification, hello to new options" ("Update your Microsoft account verification options to sign in smoothly"):
PLEASE DO NOT GET RID OF PHONE-CALL VERIFICATION!! I am UNCOMFORTABLE in having to settle for the other options that you offer!
You should offer to send me security code by voice over the phone since I don't have a smartphone that can receive a text message.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BRING BACK THE LANDLINE PASSWORD RESET CODE VERIFICATION OPTION!
I've come across so many other people experiencing the same problem as me! Back when I set up my hotmail account in 2009, I only had a landline phone number to use in order to verify my account in instances where I forgot my password. I tried to log into my email last night, however I forgot my password. That's when I noticed that Microsoft had taken away my option of using a landline call back to give me the code I need to reset my password! For some reason my LANDLINE phone number is the ONLY choice to use in place of a cell phone text reset and LANDLINE PHONE NUMBERS DON'T ACCEPT TEXTS!!!! My landline phone number is the only option and you guys presented it as a cell number!!! The security questionaire is equally baffling.... Most people don't remember the EXACT subject header they typed while sending their last email... Plus, the last email I sent was back in August (it's now December!) and the few before that were sent even further back in time... I'm sorry, I don't have instant recall on emails I sent months or years ago!
The only way I can get back into my email is for Microsoft to bring back the callback password code reset verification... Please help fix this! I may not use my email very often BUT I have important things attached to it!!! Like I said, I've come across many other people having the same issue as me!

Please don't get rid of this option! While landlines may be becoming rare in the business world, they are not in the government. There are thousands of government employees and contractors that work in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities that store and process classified information. There are still unclassified computers in these facilities, but cell phones are strictly forbidden. Phone call verification is the ONLY way I can log into a Microsoft system with MFA. A code of verification app simply don't work. I can't request MFA approval, get out of the SCIF and to my cell phone (usually located in a locker in the front of the building, unlock my locker, and hit approve in the timeframe required for this method. Worse, if I try to use the code, I can't get the code, race back to the SCIF, badge into the SCIF and then get to my computer, unlock it, and type the code in the time required.
Phone call verification is the ONLY way. Please don't eliminate it.
I often find myself in areas without CELL Service and TO that end I HAVE A LAND LINE - so that doesn't get SMS.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND NOT EVERYONE CAN USE A CELL PHONE
