reset child password
It should be much easier for a parent to reset a child's password without needing to change an account type or delete/re-create the account. The password security question answers are being rejected as insufficient, even though there's nothing else I can add. I can't reset it from the Family settings (even though I could delete the account from the family, and create a new account, but that means the email address will change.).

I am also stuck in this situation. My son has a child account in my family group, but I can't change his password and he has never sent an email so the reset option says 'not enough information'. The only resolution seems to be to create a new email address which wouldn't be his name that he wanted - which is ridiculous!
Same issue here. Set it up and forgot the password and there's no way to recover it.

Seriously, I think its completely absurd that as a parent you cannot reset your child account password. What if your child changes it and then forgets it?
Normal password recovery does not work, because my child did not even get opportunity to use the account.
Thankfully that account was empty, but I will have to create a new one. What a waste of time and resources....
