Left Pane items
Dear, I just LOVE Outlook and would certainly not want to change to another mail provider! Had Hotmail/Outlook since the beginning and planning on continuing! Yet, to be completely satisfied, I would like to submit the following issue:
Left Pane items: I would like to be able to select whether or not "Files", "Groups", "Archive", "Notes", "Conversation History", "Feeds", etc appear (as I DON'T use them and they take unnecessary space, plus they are annoying). If not possible to remove the "Files" and "Groups" items, could they AT LEAST have a function to STAY COLLAPSED (also really annoying to have to collapse them every time I refresh my Inbox - as again I don't use the "Files" items, which now even comes first (alphabetical order))?
It would REALLY be of GREAT RELIEF if you could do something about this, especially the "Files" item STAYING COLLAPSED. Thank you very much for your help!!!! Have a nice day :)

AGREE. I've used Hotmail since the beginning and each time a new iteration has been rolled out since becoming Outlook it's made the experience as irritating as Yahoo. Which is perfectly awful. Not being able to edit the left pane folders so we can have what we actually use and need on top and hide or even remove those items/features we don't would be a more useful and well received improvement. I open my email to use my email, not Excel or Word. I open Excel and Word to use those programs, Having them enmeshed in this way isn't streamlining any experience I have with any of the programs.
