Separate People with shared e-mail address forces only one name
Basic scenario. I have Jack Smith and Jill Smith. Each has their own phone number, but share an email address.
In Outlook, one would think that I could just create two new contacts. I attempt this, and it asks me if I want to create this as a new contact or merge because both individuals have the same email address. I choose to create a New Contact. After creating this new contact, I have to close and reopen Outlook for it to show up.
Here is the issue. If is still retain the same email for both contacts, even with different names and phone numbers, when I change Jack's account, Jill's is renamed to be Jack. If I change Jill's account, Jack's is renamed to Jill. It is an endless cycle.
In the end, I can't create two contacts with the same email address, without changing the other individuals information in the process. Specifically, it forces the name on both.
This has to be simple enough. I want one to have nothing to do with the other. Two people. Two independent lives. Shared E-mail address and Home address.
