Blocked emails going into deleted box
blocked mail going into deleted box when it was deleted on blocking
Thanks for your feedback. When you block a sender, we will add that sender to your Blocked Senders list and also move that email to Deleted Items.
put a true block and delete from sender option, you know, like Yahoo offers with ONE CLICK where it does not even appear in deleted folder AFTER you clicked phishing and/or block.
get a grip MSFT
Yesterday when a mail was blocked and then another mail from that address came in, it went to the deleted folder.
Now it's the same old way, where blocking a mail sender merely diverts their mail to the junk mail folder! It puts the blocked mail in the deleted folder, but future mails still go to the junk mail. WHY?
Can you make it so any future mail from a blocked sender goes to the deleted folder and not junk mail?
That would be much better!
So what happens when the blocked sender list fills up?
I've been getting nearly 100 spam mails every day, so the list fill up fast! Then what?
Having the ability to also block domains would be good too! It would help with how fast the blocked list will fill up.
Microsoft doesn't know what blocked means! Microsoft thinks block means divert to junk mail.
Hey Microsoft to block a sender means to prevent that sender from sending any more mail at all!
...get a clue will you?

I agree. MS can't seem to decide what to do on this. For awhile, blocked e-mails were being deleted straight away. By sending blocked e-mails that you don't want to the DELETED folder, you then have the uncertainty again, "Are all the items in the DELETED folder (along with ones that I have just plain deleted), items that I've carefully checked before I permanently deleted them?!" So if one wants to be careful, since sending BLOCKED items to the DELETED folder mixes them in with items just deleted straight away, one has to check all the BLOCKED items a SECOND TIME. This is not PRODUCTIVITY from Microsoft. It is a waste of time and Microsoft wastes our time.... At the very least, allow the user to configure how the BLOCK action works and make DELETE straight away an option for BLOCKING something.
Emails that I "Block" go right into my "Deleted Items" folder and I have to click on every darn one AGAIN to get rid of them! Why can't you block things and they just go away??!!!??
I have this same issue. AND even after blocking and deleting everything in my deleted folder, it ALL comes back the next time I sign in to Hotmail. I am moving to Gmail! I do not like being inundated with all the junk mail I have been receiving!!
Blocked emails now being sent to deleted. To remove them I now have to empty the deleted folder.
